@EndlessStruggle how frustrating. Honestly this whole buying and selling process is painful
@poppysmam oh no have they definitely pulled out? I hope that they have a change of heart and get another survey done to help reassure then but it’s utterly exhausting isn’t it. Try and have a relaxing weekend and see what happens next week1 -
@SprostonGreenHead it is indeed such. Horrible process really wish the process of buying and selling was much simpler. The amount of stress I’ve felt for the last few months has been unreal. I hope the seller accepts the retainer terms and things can progress for you
@Camboudica all sounds promising and that’s great that you can just go and hand the forms back at work. Good luck1 -

Thank you for your kind words @RM_2013 it really is draining. Mixing in the emotions of losing our mother, it’s quite the challenge. EA have had no luck in getting any kind of response today, so that has left me feeling we are going to be blanked from here on in. I hope I’m wrong, but not quite sure why anyone who was previously so keen to move in before Christmas is now ignoring all correspondence from EA and their sols. Im just so put off by it all. Im considering using one of those quick sale companies and cutting losses at this point. Shocking how people can get away with messing other people about this way.0

Viewed another fixer upper yesterday.
I was so tempted until I went into the bathroom and smelt the sweet smell of rotten wood and that is a line I'm not willing to cross.
It had so much potential and they are eager to sell as its a probate property.
Hopefully there are some nice price drops or new properties in the new year.
I've sent another email to my solicitor to talk about this damned inspection chamber/manhole.
Hopefully they will be happy with my answers if not I've got the water board and council options still to confirm it more officially.
I just don't want to lose my sale at this stage but I guess we'll see.0 -

It all very much depends upon your particular circumstances. Are you in a chain, is it a probate property, are there lots of enquiries, does the survey bring up issues etc etc.
Unfortunately that is a question that can't really be answered without knowing all of the variables, and even then it would depend on how fast your solicitor and the other sides solicitors are.0 -
Good luck to everyone who is waiting to hear some good/positive news before the Christmas break.2
