The nerves are massively kicking in. We are due to do a simultaneous exchange and completion this morning. We have been alerted that all the funds are in place. Feel sick with nerves now.
We couldn't get removals so have spent the last two days loading up vans. Very much aware I will have to spend the next two unloading as well!!
Good luck to all completing today!2 -

So at 4pm last night the keys were released. Somehow we have managed to do a simultaneous exchange and completion with 48 hours notice and no removal companies able to be booked! Time to unpack!

I’m at the bottom of a chain and I don’t know where it ends! My seller said that their seller had bought a new build and it was ready to move into. But then my seller got a phone call from their estate agent telling them that their seller had booked a viewing on one of their properties. I hate not knowing what’s going on! I’m still living with my ex after a marriage separation so I need out of here asap!1

Me again!
So after a great start (offer accepted 7th February), all enquiries done by start of March on our side, we have now been sat at stalemate while we wait for our vendor to sort out her side of things.
She's buying a new build and was told when we offered it would be ready in weeks, however we've been told repeatedly by her solicitor that they are waiting for enquiries. What enquiries for new builds will she have to be doing?
Her neighbours have already moved in and she told us all the electric was done etc, this was back in mid-March. It feels like nothing is happening whatsoever.
We decided to leave them be for 2 weeks with us leaving them with the reminder we have to give 4 weeks notice (by the 1st of the month), to be able to move out by the end of the same month, otherwise it will be end of June. Went on holiday and came back and still nothing.
It's so frustrating, no one will give us more information than they are waiting for enquiries, so we have no idea what their timeline is anymore, after being told they were in a rush to move very quickly, we've turned everything around the following working day.
Does anyone have any advice (please be kind, it's our first house after looking and failing on many offers before, it's taken us 4 years to get this far in the journey)? We're both losing faith that this will even happen1 -
Wow i'm stressed. So there are 3 in our chain. Everyone has now signed contracts and paid deposits. Our seller and buyer have been told the move date is the 29th but my solicitors still won't let me know for definite the date!! They keep saying they need to hear from the other solicitors confirmation of date! Whether to book removals or not?!1

Cautiously joining as we're now part way through our purchase. FTBs moving out of rented, buying from a LL - tenants already moved out so the house is now vacant.
Offer accepted: 14th MarchSolicitors instructed: 15th MarchMortgage application submitted: 16th MarchMortgage offer: 6th April (95% LTV so in-person valuation, for which I was rather nervous but it was all fine!)
Sols have had initial searches and enquiries back (all good) and are now just waiting on the local searches and anything that comes up from there.
We've got a survey booked end next week (surveyor is very busy!)
Still no real idea of timelines but sols have suggested we get our deposit money ready in case everything goes to plan. Still doesn't seem real - I don't think it will until I'm literally holding the keys!1 -

We are in a really similar situation - also buying from a landlord and moving out of rented...
Our timeframe might be a good reference for you! Our offer was accepted on the 23rd Feb and the mortgage offer was issued 1st April (slight delay as it was down-valued). We are now pretty much ready to exchange and just waiting to be sent the solicitor's report and contracts to sign.
So its looking like the whole thing will be 9 or 10 weeks to exchange and then 1 or 12 weeks total to get the keys
Everything crossed to exchange this week!!
