I am happy to pay for the indemnity policies myself, anyone any experience of this?
am I right in thinking that?0 -
And breathe...
We have finally got our vendors (factory) conveyancers to acknowledge that they cannot refuse to answer the enquiries which they had deemed unnecessary and sat on 3 weeks ago. They have have now finally come back with some answers, so this morning it looked like we were almost there. But, just had our EA on the phone this afternoon to say that despite lots of jumping up and down from my buyers and their buyers over the last few weeks, as there was a huge desire to complete before the end of the month, my buyers equally slow (factory) conveyancers have now suddenly decided to send in some enquiries on my property. This is despite these conveyancers advising my EA at the end of July that they were ready to exchange.
At this point, I am not sure whether to laugh or cry! Goes without saying that we aren't going anywhere in September.

It may well depend what the enquiries were, though. Our purchase ones have been pretty straightforward, I think there's been three. Our sale has had loads.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
