  • So looks like we may be able to exchange on 13th and complete on 17th. How are you booking removals as can't book until exchange etc
We’ve booked even tho we haven’t exchanged as can change the date up to 48 hours beforehand without charges but we’re only getting the large removal vans as friends have been roped in to help 😀

Double check the licence, My husband can drive 44 tonners but would have to have taken a test for a rental.
  • so update on my situation, I spoke to Broker and we decided I will re apply via Halifax instead of Barclays and that application went through yesterday and this morning E Serv were booked for valuation for Tuesday. So far much better experience as Barclays took 15 days for valuation to happen and ended up with Legal and General doing valuation. E Serv I hear are faster at getting report back to lender normally same day as valuation so I hope Halifax gets back to me 24 hours after and its not down valued by 50k or similar again.

I went with Halifax and no issues, we bank with them as well so its worked out well for us.

In fact our broker has called us a few times to see how we are getting on.

Yep, have done as we had to provide the licences when booking the vans. To be honest I didn’t know this but thankfully my husband did 😅

    Yep !

My hubby has everything but bike and coach on his, so we looked at hiring a pantech and a long wheel transit but I'm not doing it, I physically can't lift like I could years back.
