    Well I won’t be hearing anything until after the 4th august, just tried to email my solicitor and got an automated response saying she is on annual leave until the 4th august 😒

    @rose_T might be worth ringing and checking with their assistant or PA. someone is likely to be covering queries in their absence. My solicitor is on leave until 2nd August and we are still receiving emails from both her assistant and her PA. worth checking x

    We've been trying to exchange since last Thursday with completion planned for this Friday. Just heard the top of chain solicitors are on annual leave until Wednesday so exchange won't happen until then. Super stressed Friday won't happen & we're all prepared.

    Anyone had this tight window happen & all completed as arranged?

    Hi we are supposed to be completing this Friday and still haven't exchanged. My anxiety is telling me this Friday wont happen.  We have been waiting 17 weeks since offer. I'm also super stressed. Wishing you good luck for this friday.

    Our purchase is all sorted, our sale is nearly there so...I've just suggested a week for completion...hoping a date will give focus for the few outstanding actions...

    Feel like I should open a book on whether we move house or have our baby first...

    Well update on ours, our broker called to say that enquiries have been sent and the answers to these are all they are waiting on now. as everything else done, hoping this means the end is in sight.. no chain as we FTB and seller already have their new home as it was inherited... what are peoples experience time wise at this stage please ? Thanks

    Dropping on this thread to stop me going mad… we have been waiting to move since October last year and ended up moving with family to save our sale. 

    Everyone is expecting to complete tomorrow, but the conveyancer couldn’t exchange last week as planned as the vendor is waiting for their completion statement from the lender. I am a nervous mess today!
