Quite surprised she hasn't already obtained the redemption statement for exchange - unless it's usually requested again? We complete Friday so I'm a tad nervy about any utter disasters!

Now I read about this redemption statement, I have no idea what it is, so I assume I am yet again to await stuff from my solicitor! D'oh!Debt free journey started 30/08/2023:

@laura_lau - redemption statement is basically the final bill from your current mortgage lender, based on your completion date. So how much you still owe, any exit fees, etc.

Things were going smoothly - I had my completion statement and the purchase price was wrong - turns out the mortgage company put the wrong figure down and the agent never sent an amended memo when myself and the seller renegotiated price after valuation.Bank is sorting it and solicitor is waiting for confirmation from vendors solicitor before she issues a new completion statement. Hoping to exchange on Friday and complete 2nd June. I can’t move till the 8th so we have time if there’s a delay thankfully!0
