austere said:I saw here that the average completion time was 30 days for "DEV transfers of part". Is this still true? I completed on a new build in a development of 30+ plots in August and I'm still waiting.DEV transfers of part are taking longer, 6+ months on some cases so you shouldn’t 3xpect it any time soon.If you are ‘waiting’ then it’s all a question of bearing with us and waiting for the conveyancer to confirm once registered. If you completed and know it’s been submitted then your purchase is protected so the ‘wait’ is not something to be worried about“Official Company Representative

Hi not sure if this is something you can help with but do you know the current wait time for local searches to be returned in Coventry?Everybody in the chain is in the same city snd except for our buyers we have all received our search results and now the buyers results is the only thing we are waiting for before we can sign contracts and exchange.Do you know of any ways we can speed this up? As all other searches have returned0

Just completed house purchase and checked up about stamp duty. There would be none to pay but as I have not sold my previous house I have to pay 3%.
A solicitor can complete a SDLT form on line immediately. HMRC cannot send me a form online, they have to post it to me, it may take up to 14 days! I then have to post it back and pay the tax within 14 days of the purchase date or pay a fine and interest. How can HMRC insist on using snail mail instead of a download when it is almost guaranteed to cause a late payment and fine?
on top of this, to register the property a solicitor can do this online at a cost of £135 where joe public has to submit forms and pay £270. How can this be right?0 -

Hi there - any update on how long it’s taking to register change of ownership of property. Purchase completed at the end on September but still not updated by Land registry. Thanks0

ThanksIf you completed at end of September they’ll most likely have lodged in October and they can check progress and identify any delays from there.“Official Company Representative
