Average Speed Cameras

Someone told me the other day that when passing Average Speed Cameras if you hold your hand up angled slightly to the left the operators thinks you are one of the force so avoiding capture.

Is there any truth in this?

    No. This is similar to the myth where if you put your PIN number in backwards at a cash machine, then SWAT are disbursed to protect you.

    That is exactly what you would expect one of the force to say :rotfl:

    I always hold my hand slightly to one side when I pass one, and I've never got a ticket yet. ;)
    I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

    (except air quality and Medical Science ;))
