What feedback would you leave

What feedback would you leave if you made a offer on a item and the seller refused the first offer but they accepted the second offer but when the item turned up the price was on the item and it was lower than the first offer you made. The way the seller took the photo you couldn't see the price so if I seen the price I wouldn't have bought it as I could have bought 2 and would have had change.

A trick question surely? I can't see any reason to leave anything other than a positive.
You do realise that a business needs to sell for more than they bought an item for, and even if it was a private buyer you were obviously happy with the price - after all you offered it!
Would you expect amazon to refund you if you bought something and then found it on another site for less? The time to do your research is before you buy, leaving a non positive for buyers remorse is completely wrong.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. All I can say is that threads like this one, and this one (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5682340) make me 101% clear on my stance of never counter offering 'best offers' as some buyers can end up resenting the price they paid.
The OP is the sort of person I think should be kicked from Ebay if serious and they really really need to ask...0 -
Agree you can't complain the you brought something for more than what the person who sold it to you paid. However unless the price is part of the packaging then its better to remove it, to avoid buyers like the OP who don't understand basic economics.0

Yep, nobody forced you to buy it. You bought it for a price you were happy to pay and you received it.
Stop moaning.
I'm really glad I don't sell much on ebay these days - there are enough hoops to jump through on there without people like this to contend with.0 -

It always amazes me how some people are so stupid regarding eBay.........why do you always think it's cheapest
Here's a top tip.....next time check Google and amazon0 -
Not to sellers, take off the price tag or obscure it before sending, unless it has any meaning (ie you're selling for less or it's exceptionally old)..0

Agree with all the above: Positive feedback.
You offered to pay £x for the item, the seller accepted and shipped you the item. How you now feel about the wisdom of your offer is not relevant.A witty saying proves nothing0 -
You agreed to pay a price for an item and were happy with it, so what does it matter what the seller paid for it?
They were a muppet to leave the price on, but a business is there to make profit, which means selling things on at a higher price.
I sold a kids toy today via Facebook. I bought it second hand 5 years ago and sold it for 50% more than I paid for it.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I don't mind them making a small profit but not over 50% then leaving the retail price on.
Why not? You were more than happy with the price until you found out what they paid...
You should leave some negative feedback for yourself for not checking prices before buying!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
