Sorry to hear it Buffy. I thought you'd been a bit quiet.
Is there anything you can do if it's getting to the point where something has to change? I have got a few forms of help going on at the moment after deciding earlier this year that too many things were not the way I had hoped for. It's a bit intense and uncomfortable but it is beginning to get through from 'arrrgh' to 'ok these are the things I want changed even though I don't know how yet'.

Massive virtual hugs Buffy. So sorry life is dragging you don at the moment.
Does your work place offer an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)? It might be worth giving them a call? Writing everything down might help get it out of your head too. Buffy - lots of love. :grouphug:
Something is going to have to change or you are going to break... As Lucifa says, do you have Occupational Health available through work?

Buffs,
Stop trying to be everything to everyone else and start just being there for yourself. Work out what you want from life and then start small changes to make that possible. You've started already with getting the rabbits out of the house, now pick another small thing and start implementing that.
There's no point in trying to Kon Mari your space if you're still buying stuff (amazon account I'm looking at you) and there's no point trying to clear debt if you're adding to it (amazon account I'm looking at you again). Pick one thing you don't use/need and list it/sell it/make some sort of financial gain from it. Start small and slow and break some habits.
Work wise, ever thought about giving up teaching and just doing something else? Something where there's no expectation of commitment after your shift finishes? It might help clear your head.
All very easy for me to say, I know but you can change it, honest x"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Yes. That's kind of where I was going too. There is no point trying so hard to get everything right and be all the things if it just means you never get to enjoy what you are supposedly working for.
(It's taken several people several months to get that through my head, so I do appreciate it's not a comfortable place, but at least it is on the way to something different.)Debt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

Oh Buffy
To be honest I think it's the same for a lot of people that life hasn't turned out the way we hoped it would. You just have to try and make the best of what you've got and try to change anything you do have control over. The rest you have to forget. Take care of yourself for once xx

Sorry things feel so bad for you Buffy. Work problems, loneliness, stress all seem particularly bad at Xmas I think as the expectation is everyone is happy and our lives are great. Reality does not always match up.
Pooky makes some good suggestions. Start with small changes after Xmas. Sorting out a cupboard or drawer, updating your cv or getting a tighter handle on your money. 2019 is a new year and hopefully will be happier for you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
