Just a quick update.
Utterly shattered.
moneywise I am up a slight creek!
I have 280 left to get through till the end of the month.
Which is ok normally (good really) but it is half term and given the long hard slog till Christmas I am going to have fun.
Debt stands at 3700.

Half term is here.
I am tired. Utterly miserable.
Too much is happening for me to process. A quick list.
1. Lovely Neighbour's son was found seriously ill, rushed to hospital, found to have a brain tumour. Successful op and in recovery.
2. Best friend's Mum has cancer and needs an op.
3. My great Aunt died. Awful. Sad.
4. BIL is not in a great way.
5. Mum is miserable.
6. I am miserable.
I am to be honest finding all this quite difficult to deal with. Also stuff happening at work. I can't relax anywhere and unforgivably today because Mum was driving me insane I shouted at the dog.
Also it is rapidly getting too cold to put the rabbits outside. That will break me. I can't bear having them indoors. I just hope that the shed being heated will take the edge off. Such a shame as I do consider myself an animal lover but my two simply don't work as house rabbits.
Still I shall push on. Hard though.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Mum went to bed about an hour ago and I watched Graham Norton and Peter Kay which took me out of myself. The dog is next to me and has hopefully forgiven me.
Hopefully all I have to do is some shopping tomorrow so will finish the foundations for the run. I ordered another outdoor box for the electrics.
Remembered I am meant to be having lunch on Sunday with a friend but also said to Mum we could go to the cemetery. Hopefully if I can get back in time I can manage both.
I guess I should go to bed. Might make cocoa.

Make those rabbits a priority this week, get them out all day whilst you're out there and they'll acclimatise quickly. Not sure why they need heating, their coats will adapt.
Sorry to hear about all the other stuff going on. Just concentrate on you for now, take this half term to be kind to yourself (which involves getting those pesky rabbits out so you can relax indoors)"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Lots of love Buffy - you really sound as though you need a break and have no way of getting one. Try and be kind to yourself if you can. Make your needs a priority. Not giving up

The people in rabbit groups are essentially a bit nuts and believe that currently it is too cold to move them out. Thing is it is a bit difficult to tell with them when they are being nuts or reasonable so I am erring on the side of caution. I painted 9 panels two bits of 8 foot wood and dug up so more, laid two slabs. So there is progress.crazy_cat_lady wrote: »Lots of love Buffy - you really sound as though you need a break and have no way of getting one. Try and be kind to yourself if you can. I have to say today I felt better but it was another day of doing other stuff. spent about 3 hours on my stuff. Hard though. Tomorrow i will do more and have lunch with my friend.in_need_of_direction wrote: »The best thing about dogs is that they always forgive. Get the rabbits sorted or try to rehome.
Thank God they do. And yes, They are going out side. I do feel bad, just sat upstairs with them for a bit and they have become very tame, still grumpy but are grumpy near you as opposed to the other side of the room!
I do feel better today. The aviary is 90% done. Roof tomorrow. The doing of the shed will be the fun part and they can be outside for that!!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
The new people who have moved in next door to me have a rabbit. These houses are small & there is no way the rabbits are living indoors. It was a little wierd actually. I was bringing the shopping in, meaning several trips back to the car & I felt like I was being watched. I looked around, as you do, but could see nothing. Next trip again I'm feeling watched, there on their decking was this rabbit, not your usual type, long droopy ears & all one colour, seemed like a light chocolate velvet.
So we had a conversation, well I told it how beautiful it was & how pleased I was to meet it & it looked at me. Not sure if it was the rabbit in the headlights thing or a well you can look at me if you like but don't expect me to care thing. However it spent last winter outside & it was cold & quite obviously came to no harm - so try not to worry too much.0 -
I love that you had a conversation with the rabbit Badmemory!
Today I woke up feeling awful. terrible back ache. Good job I am going to the Back pain place tomorrow.
Instead of doing anything rabbit related I met my friend for lunch and went to the pub.
got a BANGING headache now tho. I suspect either end of period headache, aspartme related (in the lemonade) or just the fact that I feel like I need a bloody good cry and my shoulder hurts... Am ok, will go to bed soon.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
