I'd say a and b. If their sign does apply, driver complied (but in any event t&cs on sign don't apply because there was another completely different sign in that bay).
Yes was also wondering how the amount has gone up so drastically!Although a practising Solicitor, my posts here are NOT legal advice, but are personal opinion based on limited facts provided anonymously by forum users. I accept no liability for the accuracy of any such posts and users are advised that, if they wish to obtain formal legal advice specific to their case, they must seek instruct and pay a solicitor.1 -
Today I received a letter from the County Court Business Centre and I've entered the information onto the MCOL website to verify its legitimacy. It's the real deal.
I've completed the online form to acknowledge the service as described on the newbie thread but wanted to continue this thread so that you can all track my progress through to the win just in case I'm missing anything.
I'm surprised they are chasing as I've got evidence of a permit in the vehicle at all times and it's clear as day that I'm not breaking any restrictions.
The date of Issue was the 27th Feb 2020.
Will I be able to claim against them for wasting my time as I really have better things to be doing.1 -
With a Claim Issue Date of 27th February, you have until Tuesday 17th March to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.Having filed an AoS, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 31st March 2020 to file your Defence. That's four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To file both an AoS and a Defence, follow the guidance in this post:Guidance on creating a Defence is also in that thread - in the first post on that thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.3

Will I be able to claim against them for wasting my time as I really have better things to be doing.Nope, not ''claim'' but you can ask the Judge for your costs at £19 per wasted hour if the hearing goes ahead, if the exaggerated claim isn't struck out which is the intention of the new defence template in the link already posted.
DO NOT DO THE AOS TOO SOON!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So I've made the amendments to the template and completed my sections. Please see attached.
I can't see an image under Appendix C so I think I may need to insert this from elsewhere.
Should I also include my evidence (the photo's I've got of the permit, parking signs etc)?0 -
Any feedback on the above please?

Indeed, no image in appendix C
Richard - if you can prove, and HAVE PROVEN TO THEM IN THE PAST that there was no reason to issue the charge, then consider a counterclaim for
- breach of DPA
- if residential breach of peaceable enjoyment - theyre an agent of the landowner and so their breach of lease is the landowners breach of lease
etc.
