Even once in a while is a good hit on the debts! Lovely to be able to walk places and not have to drive. Hope the weather improves though!
It hasn't been too bad here, it is raining at some point everyday but it's not constant, mornings are usually fine then it's been raining from about lunchtime on.DEC GC £463.67/£450

Quin, i'm sure this isn't news to you, but you could freeze it in portions for a quick dinner one night?
When I make bolognaise, i make a massive pot of it with 1kg mince, two onions, a whole punnet of mushrooms, three peppers chopped, herbs, tomato puree, dash of worcestershire sauce, 3 or 4 tins of chopped tomoatoes (I think that's it). Then when it's cooked i keep one portion by for dinner and I can generally freeze another four portions (each serving four of us) to have once per week on the night we're late home. It's such a quick dinner then.CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

Yeah I do similar but I'm trying to empty my freezer to defrost it and use everything up so I'm trying to not add anything in other than my bread so we will just eat it
It's payday today(we get paid weekly)...
paid £100 to vanquis which is an overpayment of £56.74
also nipping to town to pay £100 to Debenhams which is an overpayment of £35.
I"m hoping to pay alot more off both of these over the rest of the month.
Today won't be a nsd as I need to grab something to take round to a friends house this evening, will grab a sack of potatoes on the way home from town.DEC GC £463.67/£450

Uniform ordered for a grand total of...£51.50 :j My mother in law said she'd buy their new shoes. We are reusing alot this year like coats, jumpers and school bags but they are all in great condition. all I need is gym bags and some stationary so £15-£20 should easily sort the rest. Happy with that I'm well under budget. I get uniform allowance which will pretty much cover all this cost.
Oh that note I'm off to find the school bags and throw them in the wash
CHANGE OF PLANS, today will be a nsd (I'm not counting uniform as it had to be done and not from my weekly budget) I spent several hours trying to get out of the house and have now given up :rotfl: and my toddler is not in the best form for taking to the shops.DEC GC £463.67/£450

Hi quintwins.
Came across a post of yours elsewhere and followed you here. I used to read your thread a few years ago when you were saving for some land/house. Guess you managed to do that with the mention of a mortgage and another child too I think? I'm sure there was only 3 before? I hadn't realised you were still posting so pleased to have caught up.
Quite envious of your school uniform spends. My DD's school has changed their uniform this year, compulsory to come from one shop only almost £130 later......:( Thankfully my eldest is now in college so just wears his own clothes.
Looking forward to reading your journey.0 -
Hi spendless.
We moved to a tiny family farm building to save for our house and after 2 years were ready to crack up and decided to just buy a house. That was 3 years ago now! And yes I had a very cute surprise after that and now have 4 boys
As for my uniform spends I think it's just because they are still in primary school. Dreading next year I'm going to start saving after Christmas, gonna be logo everything and brand new everything for the twins:eek:
I hope my journey makes good reading but it's more than likely just me rambling on :rotfl:DEC GC £463.67/£450

Not much happened yesterday had a nsd. hubby fixed my dishwasher and we had dinner cooked over night in the slow cooker.
Today will be another nsd and also not much happening. I gave hubby money for desil but he never actually went and got any so he's taken my car to work. its ok its going to pour down anyway.
I don't think much of anything will be happening here until the weekend.DEC GC £463.67/£450

NSDs going well - and even your spend day includes big whack off the debt! (don't think that counts as spending!)
Have a good day with whatever you have to do.0
