Happy Monday guys, well I started to feel really ill as yesterday went on (stupid migraine) and hubby was away helping a mate with a car so we ended up ordering pizza for dinner last night, we used a 50% off code so was £19.15 for the 6 of us.
Youngest has had a growth spurt and none of his jeans fit so I managed to grab a wee bundle to do him off eBay at £8.20.
IN other news I changed electric supplier last month and got a £13 refund from my old supplier this morning.
Still feeling quite bad today so no real plans other than keeping the kids alive.DEC GC £463.67/£450

So I was looking into my vanquis card and it says this....
Account Freeze
Designed to act as a safety net you can freeze your account for up to 2 years in the event of difficult financial circumstances without incurring any interest or needing to make any payments. Although you won’t be able to use your card, your account will be reported to the credit bureaux as being up to date so your credit rating is protected. Terms and Conditions apply.
I'm wondering if I should phone and trigger this and work on my creation card before the 0% ends or if I would be better just paying the vanquis and getting it gone?
If I pay it off it should be gone by the next statement (14th sep), also if I phone right now it might save me £43 in interest (I think, obviously I don't know how long it takes to take effect)DEC GC £463.67/£450

Turns out that's not an option unless I lost my job or had a baby, so glad I paid £11 this month for the repayment plan that I can't actually use :shocked:DEC GC £463.67/£450

Can you cancel the repayment plan and save the £11??
no it's already come out this month and now I'm even more determined to get it gone by next month anyway so won't save me anything, just will mean I'll have to phone them back. Also realised the interest rate is 39.9:eek:DEC GC £463.67/£450

Sorry for all the posts today but just so I can keep track that I'm actually being proactive so the huge amount in red writing in my sig doesn't start to overwhelm me....I closed my next account, I never use it but now I know I never will and surely that's bound to look better on my credit report than having £5k available to me if I suddenly decide to splurge and spend it all?DEC GC £463.67/£450
