Bye bye weekend:( It's been a good one though:D

I've no money news as I'm slap bang in the middle of the mid month lull. I did however have a £5.18 spend on chicken breasts, yogurt and strawberries so not a nsd.

    Today's mfw/well being successes have been quite small but I'm determined to keep reminding myself this is a long game and that every little helps:p,;

    Went for a run

Had a couple of hours with my dad :)

Sampled the experimental chocolate and peanut butter overnight oats having added a mashed banana - gorgeous, a definite keeper as a sweet but healthy snack/dessert/breakfast :D

Made thai curry, Dahl and pad thai for a family dinner - loads of lo for this week :j

Chopped up melon and pineapple and made low fat hummus for easy, healthy snacks

Laundry done and line dried and put away

Coloured my hair using 1/2 a £land colour so no more greys for 50p :money:

Went for a walk with ds

    Read in the garden

Had a chat on the phone with a friend and arranged a meet for later in the week

Listed some new items on eBay and relisted some things that hadn't sold. I need to make another £38 this month if I'm to hit my target :o

I didn't do any reports so I'm glad I did three on Friday so I'm still on track - just :o. The garden never got done either :o. Refusing to feel guilty about it as there's nothing that can't wait a bit :)

I'm off for a bit of TV before an early night as I'm back to it tomorrow but I now only have 6 weeks until the summer holidays :):)

    Happy Sunday to you :)

You'll be counting the 'get ups' rather than weeks before you know it. I always try and live by "a Sunday well spent, brings a week of content"
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

    Hi Cath

You are so right, I'd never survive the week if I didn't get ahead at the weekend and having a bit of R&R. It's a juggling act sometimes though isn't it?:p
Hope you and yours are well and enjoying the sunshine :)

    Morning

Last night just disappeared on me so I didn't post which I try not to do as firstly I find it therapeutic but it also keeps me motivated and accountable so must try harder!

It'll have to be a quick one though as I need to be in the shower and cracking on in 10 minutes of I'll be behind all day:p

    Yesterday's mfw/well being successes included;

    Nsd:j

Cheap, healthy eats (porridge, lo for lunch and omelette and salad for dinner)

    Drank enough water

Went for a run whilst ds was training

Called in on mum and dad

Marking up to date and only 5 reports left to do. I've got a large class this year and they've felt a bit endless !

Sold an eBay item so £6.51 after fees transferred to os pot.

Must get up and at 'em!!

    Happy Tuesday to you :)

    Evening

I woke ridiculously early this morning due to my little four legged buddy wanting his breakfast and a wee so tonight I'm pooped:p

Today has been good but a bit spendy (£35.60 on fuel and £2 on yeast and milk) and i couldn't even manage a tt as my current account is a nice, round number!

Successes have been small but taking me in the right direction financially and keeping me fit and healthy along the way:)

Weights class and spin:eek: Enjoyed it though:)

    Drank enough water

Cheap, healthy eats (overnight oats for breakfast, avocado toast for lunch and hm pizza for dinner)

Cut back another small section of garden and swept the seemingly endless blossom off the decking

Ds's final maths paper came and went without major trauma :)

    Posted eBay parcel

    Wrapped Father's day gift

Packaged everything up for the accountant ready to drop off

Recycling sorted, bins emptied and out ready for collection

Read meters ready for my June statement. I'm £170 in credit at the moment so I want to get that back and in my os pot:)

I'm off for an early night and I'm very much hoping the dog has a lie in tomorrow:rotfl:

    Happy Tuesday to you:)

e There have been so many things latterly that I couldn't control but I decided I've always been quite good with money but often got lax through lack of planning, waste and the odd impulse buy. In the last few years I've really knuckled down. I've joined the GC which is brilliant , I meal plan (which I kid you not, has changed my life!!), I keep a spending diary and have saved, saved and saved x

What’s the GC & can I see your meal plans pls?
    MBNA (Was £2000), Now £2, 900 (Expected date Dec/2020)

    Hi

It the Grocery Challenge over on the old Style board, it's brilliant :)

I'll gladly pm you some meal plans but they are on the spread sheet app on my phone so I'll try and wrangle with technology at the weekend. I hope you like leftovers :rotfl:
