    A very quick update from me as I'm feeling in need of sleep - again:p

    Today's successes;

    No spends apart from filling up with fuel

    Nice family dinner using a ys joint and a 10p ys apple pie for dessert:money:

    Laundry folded and put away

    £41.83 from this week's eBay sales. All parcelled up so I'll post tomorrow.

    Did day 3 of Shred level 2 ( and sneaked in a session of Level 3 because I couldn't get out for a run and I was curious:o. )

    Tomorrow's lunches ready

    Bins emptied and recycling sorted out.

    Finished this week's planning

    Night night :)

    I am having a right week:eek: I bloody knackered!! Work has had its shall we say challenges, as has home. Work has settled down and after much TLC home is much chirpier too:)

    In money news I've transferred my eBay sales money to the os pot along with an odd TT. I'd also forgotten that there was no council tax to pay in March so I transferred another £124 yesterday. My new payment will be £132 a month for 10 months which is annoying but could have been worse. I get new tenants on Fri so I will get some rent this month ( minus set up costs) which is better than I thought:D. I'll have had three rent free weeks but as I've spent so little I'm hoping I'll hitmy targets:)
    I've had a small spend of £1.98 in HB on 2 lots of cake tin liners but other than that I've had no spends since I last posted:)

    Other successes included;

    All dinners have come from gammon leftovers ( carbonara, omelettes and risotto) and lunches have been lo.

    Have done two weights classes and have done 5 days of level 2 shred.

    Have drank 2 litres of water a day

    Laundry up to date but there is some on the airer that will need folding and a few bits of ironing

    1 bed changed

    All eBay items posted

    Daily sweep and wipe done

    Shopping list done for the final shop of the month

    Spreadsheets up to date

    Sleep has not been great so I'm going to try an early night.

    Happy hump day :):)

  • Ahhhh pants to work and Home issues. Is it the kiddieinks causing the stresses or the adults?

    Council tax rises boooooo
    New tenants - yay.
    And woo hoo to frugal living.

    I am hoping, once the weekend is out of the way, the end of the month will be in sight. I know I'm wishing my life away, but it's been a long month (again).

    Hope you've slept well and the end of the week is more peaceful.

    Wish.

    I!!!8217;m a shred fan, I did the 30 days doing 10 days of each level. Think I missed out 2 days. I never do level 1 anymore and if I do it then I alternate between level 2 and 3. Actually prefer level 3 but the rock star jumps are hard!
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

    Aww thanks Wish, you're so kind :A. DS having a bit of a wobble which is always a bit of a worry as he bottles things up. Gently teased it out of him and got a few things in place which seemed to have helped. Hate seeing him down :(

    They are certainly not straightforward for ladies of a certain age who've had two children Cath :eek:
    Did you notice a difference in tone?

    I'm sticking with it except the days I do strength classes as it was just too tiring and it was impacting on my cardio classes because my legs were so tired!

    A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Thursday which is nearly Friday:j:j

    Very much looking forward to a change of pace. The kids are with their dad this weekend so I intend to take full advantage and recharge my severely depleted batteries!

    Today has been good, busy and challenging on occasions but good. I'm still glad the week's nearly over though:)

    My final eBay item paid up so I transferred £17.09 to the os pot plus £30 worth of expenses which have just been paid back. I've had some spends today but all were needs not wants so that feels ok:)
    I did the grocery shop for £22.96 including four lots of Crest Advanced toothpaste which was on offer for 59p in £stretcher . if I avoid top ups (which I have been doing) that will put me at £23 under budget for the month, averaging £26.32 a week :j. Really chuffed with this although when my ys meat and fish run out this will increase unless I can find more! I also spent £2 on two packs of wax strips which I'll take out of personal spends.

    Other mfw/ general well being successes included;

    A better sleep:D

    Cheap, healthy eats ( porridge for breakfast, lo for lunch and lasagne , salad and ys olive bread for dinner).

    Cleared out the fridge and put anything that wouldn't get eaten this weekend in the freezer.

    Found curry to defrost for lazy dinner and wine night tomorrow - can't wait:)

    Lunches ready for tomorrow

    Ironing done and hoovered downstairs

    Laundry folded and put away - getting so much better at this and what a difference it makes!

    Found ys croissants in freezer for ds's breakfast

    Did a spin class and popped in on mum and dad before collecting ds from footie training

    Posted last eBay parcel

    Updated spreadsheets

    Painted my toe nails :)

    Off to watch an episode of Marcella before bed:)

    Happy Thursday to you, we've survived another week :j
