    Evening:wave:

    I have tenants:j:j They are moving in on Tuesday so I'm only going to be down 10 days rent - phew, it's felt like it's been dragging on for ages! In other money news I've had no spends apart from £1.74 on our Aldi's remaining packs of beetroot (I bought 6 and left 6 so as not to monopolise:p). I also got a refund of £18.94 from my previous energy supplier so I've got a bit more to OS when I do my month end mop up on Friday.
    Work has been good and went in a flash as it's my duty day and I also do a club. Can't believe we are nearly through week 4 :eek:

    Other small steps to success and wellbeing included;

    Drank enough water

    Spin class done

    Classroom tidy,resources ready for tomorrow and marking up to date

    Half the gifted app!es stewed ready to freeze

    Cheap,healthy eats (porridge for breakfast, lo for lunch, spaghetti with hm pasta sauce from the freezer and salad for dinner)

    Freezer lo defrosting for lunch tomorrow

    I'm now in bed with a cup of tea with the electric blanket on ready to watch TGBBO:)

    Happy Hump Day:):)

    Evening :wave:

    It's pay day tomorrow so I'm declaring September done:p. Today has been a good day and my only spend was £30.70 on the weekly food shop. Other small steps to success and wellbeing included;

    Drank enough water

    Went for a run

    Cheap, healthy eats (overnight oats for breakfast, lo for lunch, batch cooked chickpea and spinach curry for dinner)

    Lunches for tomorrow defrosting

    Hoovered the downstairs

    Laundry done and line dried:). Folded but not put away:o

    Meal planned for next week and food shop done

    Visited dad

    September's spends have been pretty good despite various birthdays etc as all gifts were from my stash and DD's was budgeted for. September proved to be a five week month which I probably should have noticed:eek: However, spends have proved quite low regardless due to being busy with work and dad. It's also been fairly sociable but I do tend to socialise at home:)

    Spends were;

    Fuel £ 98.29

    Grocery £117.18

    Personal £30.95

    All in all I'm dead chuffed with that :)

    Happy Thursday to you:):)

    Friiiidaaaaaaay :j:j

    Despite enjoying work more than I have done in a while I'm still tired come Friday and the thought of two mornings of not having to rush up is great :D. It's also pay day :D:D

    Today's small steps to success and freedom included;

    Drank enough water (just)

    Made a large box of pre chopped salad stuff for the fridge and a large tub of red berry overnight oats.

    Put dry laundry away and did two more loads and put them on airers.

    Cleaned and bleached the loos

    Picked a huge bag of eating apples from a 'help yourself ' tree

    Chased up overdue rent :mad:

    Signed contract for new tenants:j

    With some help from two kind and efficient ladies I sorted out a real administrative f**k up:eek::mad: - a great reminder of the value of security and an emergency fund :A

    A nsd

    Spent the evening with Dad

    Kids on great form:)

    Cheap, healthy eats (porridge for breakfast, lo pesto pasta and salad for lunch and batch cooked spag bol and hm garlic flat bread from the freezer)

    Classroom tidy, marking and assessments up to date and resources ready for Monday. Such a good feeling!

    Off to bed with my book and looking forward to not getting up at 5.30:)

    Happy Friday to you :D

    Evening :wave:

    I've spent most of the day and this evening with Dad so I've not got much done. He 's doing so well with all the changes but is getting so frail and had another fall today:( No damage thankfully but it shakes him up. He's a trooper though, he never moans :D

    I did have a small spend today as I went to the Cs warehouse to get dad some new dvds. I found 6 of his sort of thing for £1.50 and two books for me so £3 out of my personal spends - pushing the boat out :rotfl:

    Other small steps to success included;

    Two loads of laundry line dried and put away

    Made tomato and basil soup

    Defrosted ys leg of lamb for a roast tomorrow

    Swallowed two frogs - emails

    Drank enough water

    Made the kids pancakes for breakfast

    Cheap healthy eats - overnight oats for breakfast, hm tomato and basil soup and ys foccacia for lunch and lo spag bol for me and DD as DS was out and about.

    helped DD get some car insurance quotes as hers is due soon. Looking significantly lower than last year :)

    Off to read before bed and very much looking forward to a lie in:). I've a dad free day tomorrow so I really must crack on with some long overdue stuff at home.

    Happy Saturday to you:)

    Hi PP

    I'm new here and have been reading your thread! You are amazing, I have already picked up lots of tips. Can I ask - do you go to the shops every day for food or do you meal plan and go once a week? Our grocery shop is huge, partly because I have health issues and can't eat anything with wheat or gluten in it or potatoes - which sucks massively lol, this is where I'm going to start saving money though if I can.
