Great to see the blame game going on, when no one knows how and when the glass got there

Indeed - as I've been pointing out:

However the glass got into the OP's food, it's unfair - imho - for a poster to blame the 'chef' based on what has been posted so far.

I wasn't blaming anyone. Just adding that imo, its more likely to have come from the restaurant itself than a possible supplier of pre-made food.

Although I'm now wondering why its okay to blame the cooks at the suppliers but not the cooks at the pub ;)

My post regarding blame wasn't directed towards you.

I don't believe I specifically 'blamed' the cooks at the suppliers:

I would think it's more likely that the glass got in the meal at the manufacturing stage rather than as a result of someone in the kitchen breaking a glass and some going into a meal that was waiting to go out to the table.

There's a big difference between saying the 'chef is obviously not very careful in health and safety' and expressing the opinion that a contaminant was 'more likely' from the supplier - in what is probably a very large factory involving lots of people. ;)

I'm guessing the dig was at me ... so I'd suggest you actually read my posts again.

I'm not blaming any one person ... I've said all along that responsibility lies with the person in charge of the kitchen. Same as that person is responsible for the quality of the food that leaves the kitchen, the cleanliness of the kitchen, etc. etc.

Blame will ultimately lie with whomsoever caused the glass to be there in the first place.

    Then guess again.

Did you actually post 'chef is obviously not very careful in health and safety'?
    I don't think you did.

The ' ' punctuation marks are specifically what was posted.

So I'd suggest you actually read my posts again - instead of jumping to conclusions.

I went to citizen advise this morning. before I can involve environmental health I need to put in a formal complaint in writing to head office to ensure that they know the facts.

    Absolute rubbish.............
Obviously you want to make a bit deal of this & choose to ignore my advice.
Any member of the public can contact their local environmental health office at any time...........
You are putting other users of that establishment at considerable risk by not contacting local environmental health office.......DO IT NOW.
Sorry but that is the end of my contribution to this thread

I've sent you a voucher for a free meal at Whetherspoons as I feel you need to get out more. Get some fresh air and some company and relax and enjoy yourself ;)
You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.
