Hi I recently got my first credit card. The balance is £450 and the statement date when payment is due is the 10th of august. I'm going to clear the balance in full on Monday and my question is, if I spend on the card again before the 10th will occur interest charges or will I have to keep the balance at 0 until the 10th. (Might be an awfully easy question I can find anywhere but I'm not having much luck) thanks all

As long as you clear the full statement balance by the due date, you won't incur interest (assuming no cash transactions).0
