Is working at McDs something you would do?

Or would you rather be on the dole?
The reason I ask this is because my boyfriends brother (18) left school at 16 with no GCSEs and since then has had a lot of jobs, but none for more than a few weeks.
He's been an apprentice mechanic, apprentice decorator, worked in offices and numerous call centres. His last job about a week ago was packing in a chocolate factory, it was 12 hours shifts....he lasted a day.
So last night while in McDs we and my boyfriend noticed they were recruiting so picked up an application form for him and gave it him.......his response was 'Funny b******, I'm not working there'. His mum was there at the time and told him to 'throw it in the bin, you're not working there'.
I was stunned, she went on to tell my boyfriend 'you wouldn't work there', I couldn't help but chip in with 'well my sister did' (true she did), I had to do my best to stop myself from saying what I really thought!
Later his mum came and told my boyfriend it was a stupid thing to do and that his brother needs a real job, he can do better than working there blah, blah, blah.
My opinion on this is a job is a job, I have worked 12 hour shifts packing, I worked as a cleaner while at uni and this involved cleaning the toilets! So what does everyone else think?
I used to be like that..... Until I found my vocationI can work 12 hours now and Im not bothered because I luv me job:rotfl:
Thinking of toilets I used to clean a Building Site toilet.......... Ew........(Zebedee Holds His Nose)
I once went door to door for double glazing until one of my collegues had a fighter with a bloke and he brought his shotgun out (Zebedee Runs Away!!!)
I think everyone has something they realy realy want to do. You just have to think about it. I always knew I wanted to look after people and help them. I also wouldnt have minded being a lorry driver. Then one day my brain added the two jobs together and..... hey presto!.... lol!0
