    Dear lovely diary

Laying here, awake, obviously but wishing I was still alsleep but with another jam packed day ahead that’s not possible. Despite being in bed at a reasonable time, I struggled to get to sleep, OH woke me with a bad dream, and I was definitely awake at some point :(

I know I am grumpy old woman, but in RL I do feel very lonely, and have no one to talk to.

I am always reflective at this time of year, but I start thinking about Christmas Cards and shave off a few more people who despite my overtures have not responded back in years...

I should say a few have this year and it’s been lovely to see them, but where once we would be seeeing and speaking to them every few weeks, now it’s once or twice a year.

So many now have children, and we have so little in common. Many
have no idea, no understanding about living with a chronic condition, all the see is me ducking out of activities when the body says no can do.

I’ve ducked out of several things in the last 10 days mainly because they have been in the evening and the batteries are flat.

I’ve forgotten how being on here helps to be able to share my feelings and know someone is listening. X

    Thursday 25th.

Due to go to my 1:2:1 Pilates session but the body said no, for the second week.

My reframing head tells me the cancelled fees is going to supporting my friends new studio, an investment - sigh

I sit on the computer and as well as catching up on here, I do lots and lots of boring on line training that is compulsory for work and cut off date is Wednesday, by the end of the day I only have 2 left 2 do.

I also know I have left them and left them and now I am doing them on the wire.

We had arranged to go over to in-laws and have a take out for nephews birthday ... I duck out, I eat left overs from the fridge. He gets treated.

    Friday 26th

D Day in London for treatment on my back. It’s painful but good at the same time.

I have a bit of a shopping list.

    1. A new diary - P@perchase not very :money: but lovely and I resisted anything else no obligatory purple pen which is the norm.

    2. Fortnums, just love wondering in here, the obligatory stop to use their loo, spacious and clean, in central London. Managed to buy a handcream for £20 and they beautifully wrapped it, present for the neighbour who works in Canary Wharf earning ££££££££ whose 50th we were going to that night. A quick spray of my favourite perfume.

    3. B3nefit - had nearly run out of foundation and powder, feeling really frumpy, and with a moustache I had my eyebrows done and my lip. Felt better for it, but oh the ££

I took both breakfast and coffee with me, but at 4pm desperately needed something post treatment, found a new to me bar and restaurant, called “Titbits” it had this big help yourself area, you took a plate helped yourself and got your plate weighed. Very Mediterranean alongside a cheeky glass of vino. I sat there reading a chick flit on my iPad, and dreamt I was a sophisticated lady that lunched, with a very exciting life :rotfl:. In reality I came home to bed,Dr Who ( wasn’t the Rosa Parks episode fab) a cat on my lap, the other beside me. OH went off to the party without me. So my highlight of the day was a spoonful of yummy bread and butter pudding and another of rice pudding. I wasn’t counting syns.

    Saturday

One of my many tasks is to lead the props sort for the local am dram society at the local arts centre.

Saturday morning arranged to meet another member to start categorising and listing the items we had sorted in the summer. What a mess we found up there :( we spent most of the time puttting things away from the last two productions.

On the plus side, while awaiting the Arts centre to open the other lady treated me to a tea, she is 20 years older than me, I enjoy being in her company.

Came home to write a moaning email and to start creating the great spreadsheet.

I then well had a complete melt down with OH, he had either a selective memory or just forgets things we’ve said or agreed, and also selects to do some things and not others, really gets me down.

We had fortunately cancelled a friend for supper.

I know it’s probably all sorts of things I am struggling with, and he unfortunately did a minor thing that was the catalyst for all my current pent up emotion.

    All work, no fun.

My faith says to serve and not look for recognitiation, but sometimes..........

    Sunday

Fortunately we were both able to get a good nights sleep and had a lay in, this did mean that I didn’t get to church, another social activity not achieved.

However I did spend the day mostly on oestopaths accounts and broke the back of his annual accounts :T:T

OH did a lot of domestic chores like washing, litter box, putting a few of :money: offer plug plants in and feeding me, all from SW receipes.

I forgot to say yesterday I also used my salary yesterday to pay off of debt. This was good, although I am aware that this will only maintain a steady level of debt rather than decreas per it as most of my salary this month will go on new glasses, a skip and our man to trim our trees.

I stopped at 8.30 watched the extra slice and then went to bed, where I couldn’t sleep :(
