    Dear Diary

    Why will I ever learn!

I have so much to do, getting poor rest and having to make difficult decisions.

Reviewing the days that I have missed for my benefit really.

    Saturday 14th

Went to my amateur dramatic groups performance. We ate before at home, olden days it would have been the pub :money:

We did have a couple of rounds of drinks but this is the Arts centre so cost about £11 for a beer, 2 gins a coke and a packet of peanuts in Surrey !

    Sunday 14th

Last projector day in Church, earlier diary posts have talked about my frustrations so this is a relief.

To the Arts centre to sort finances and I didn’t get my normal costalota on the way :money:

Afternoon spent doing the accounts as far as I could.

    Monday 15th

Work day, which turned out better than expected i.e things were cancelled by others so I could concentrate on my long to do list. I am though feeling very tired. In consequence I forgot the receipt to claim the drink back from work where I met my client :(.

It has been the right decision to change my SW day to Friday I was shattered and wouldn’t have been able to go.

    Tuesday 16th

My mum would have been 80 today, it’s been 19 years but oh how it still hurts.

Decided to skip an employment forum in work, but still had to go to Clapham junction for work. All my energies went on work and travel so ended up buying lunch :(. A grilled chicken wrap, from the yellow M shop so not very SW either :(.

Successfully got to Richmond where was meeting OH in our favourite pub for an early supper except he wasn’t there ... he was stuck in traffic, in the end I had a large gin and a starter, he had a pint and a starter, after me, and we just got to the theatre in time. The play was excellent the Habit of Art an Alan Bennett with Matthew Kelly, but by this time I really wasn’t in the mood. Another gin, and a big tub of crisps in the interval was out tea :(:(

OH wanted to stop at the golden M’s on our way home, I resisted we had an argument :(:(:(.

Went to bed craving tinned ravioli and hot buttered toast... which to date I still haven’t had :rotfl::rotfl:

Ps and I left my favourite hat in the pub, we went back for it, they couldn’t find it, but when we got home their was a message on our home phone.

    Wednesday 17th

I had a mini meltdown when I got up about everything we have committed to. The greatest of which was 8 to dinner the forthcoming Saturday, and not just supper a Trafalgar dinner at that, and two staying over.

Its really OH baby, but he had done little to organise it, and although he would do the cooking, I would have to sort everything else.

So basically said, we had to cancel and we did. I was so relieved.

I went to rescue my hat, putting an extra hour on my commute home... shattered.com

    Thursday 18th

I spent part of the day, in a fatigue fog, and I concentrated on Christmas Day admin.

This meant I didn't complete the production accounts and then ducked out of the post production meeting. This made me feel terrible, they had booked the meeting with out asking me whether I had time to complete the accounts but even so.... OH said I had nothing to feel guilty about.

I hate it when I can't complete things...

    Saturday 20th

We did have a very slow start to the day and brunch.

We had all sorts of plans for food that day, and cooking did fall on OH so in the end he made soup for a late lunch from his allotment butternut squash, with coconut milk which was yum but not SW friendly.

We then we had scampi and SW chips for tea,

Comfort food all the way, I continued my focus on all the admin

I had sat down and split an A4 pad into six sections

    1. Home

    Domestic chores like washing !

    2. Social

I am our social secretary managing our diary, which has to be said is not doing that well.

    3. Work

Apart from all my client work, I also have a lot of online training which I have to do before 31/10 :eek:

    4. Accounting work

I have my oestopaths accounts and CGT info to get tomorrow due a month ago :eek:

    5. X Players

Production accounts, members info, props sort.....

    6. Christmas Day Lunch

Currently contacting last years guests including the mayor

    I did achieve a few things and I did reward myself with a bath and a G & T x 2 ooops

    Sunday 21st October

Again a slow start which was required....

Then back to paperwork, I am afraid the long list that I listed above is no where near complete but I’m getting there :) very slowly.

Concentrated on the accounting work for at least 4 hours and that made me feel better.

We had invited one of the couples who were coming for dinner to a late afternoon roast. It was good to catch up, they are our closest friends and we can just be us, with no ceremony.

I was planning to go back to work but oops after gin, wine, roast beef and jam sponge......

Mon 22 - weds 24 - work days and in the evenings I have just vegged.

    Non Planned for Spending

I am pleased to say I have resisted any treat spending, I have just looked at my pocket money account, and the only transactions going out are to my credit card :):):)

Ad hoc house keeping spending unplanned from our account has been :money: jersey plants offer to cheer up the allotment and raised walk beds.

A Royal British Legion Crochet Poppy, have to say I gave away a coat a couple of weeks ago to a charity shop. It had a beautiful crocheted poppy that I got from a eBay seller a few years ago. All her profits went to fundraising for RBL. When looking to replace it, all the eBay sellers seem to be doing it for a business and only 10% profit goes to the RBL hence I have paid for an official one.

wanted to add that this makes me very uncomfortable, making Remembrance poppies as a business

    PAYE Code

I am pleased to say I sorted that out this week, there had been some confusion around it and I have been paying tax for the last 4 months, too late for this payday but refunded in November :)

    Self Employed Loan

When I tried to set up on my own a few years ago, I borrowed some cash on the credit card, well I now have officially earned income over a year, to pay it off. Last payment being paid today. This is joyous.

Currently all my salary goes on paying our credit card debt, and so every milestone reached makes me very happy.

    Credit Card

In order to see the reality of our spending and debts, we have an itemised spreadsheet, where everything is shown, yes even the 79p paid to apple for photo storage every month. We put most things on a JL card so we earn points. However at times everyday payments that should have been paid off from our bank account have not been. I n:oow take great pleasure deleting the line, every time I pay an amount off.

Currently October 2016 :o:o our break to see friends in Spain, but this is going this month.

Being back doing the diary is certainly keeping me in check.
