Yikes indeed, he once took me for an overnight stay in a hotel, he had a bag of rice, a large parsnip and a crepe bandage in his luggage. I took painkillers and I got a boll***** for being a frigid spoilsport.

And who said romance was dead

My hair has always been as nature intended it to be, when it had colour of it's own it was more red than brown and as it decided to grow grey threads I just left it alone to do it's own thing. Now it's grey, white, reddish and looks like it's got a pink rinse on when it's just been washed. I really don't care as long as it's clean and looks neat.....who looks at old ladies hair anyway except old ladies?

We're just back from house hunting close to DD1 and may, just may have found what we seem to have been looking for forever and a day. We're arranging a second viewing at a time when Nell can come too for an extra pair of eyes and a different perspective but it tick all the boxes on our 'wish list' and is about a 10 minute drive from her house and also the station to get down to Ruthie and the Grandpickles. Watch this space................

Well, that's a new one to me Hester, and I thought I'd met most things on my trek through life. I did have a friend who was a specialist A&E nurse. She told me that they often had to remove interesting things from interesting places, but usually on a Saturday night when the drunks arrived.
The nearest I got to that was having to take a child in my school to A&E because he'd shoved Spiderman's foot up his nose. Hardly in the same class.

Oh softstuff, a gecko down the back of your nightie is not nice. You must have been very upset. I do hope it doesn't give you nightmares. Or a phobia.

Bounce! Bounce! Bounce! Good news Lyn. :D

More bouncing... youngest DD has a had a great day at school! It was fun. She showed them all her gymnastics pose (a yoga move as taught by eldest - yes they do yoga together when they're not bickering) and was confident to use her tinted glasses in class. She's said she was just herself today 'you know mam, funny me'. oh dear, she's sarcastic like the rest of the fuddle's. I am so relieved and she's quite excitable. Phew!
