I'd stick with real butter too but take advice from your doctor/nurse fuddle.
Thanks for the advice re my work problem, all duly noted and taken on board.. I would dearly love to share the dissertation insulting me and my work..but you never know who's reading.
I've been in bed all afternoon either reading or dozing..I am feeling absolutely wiped out.

We have net curtains at our windows because we have big windows and live on a busy street.
Yesterday evening OH somehow knocked the net curtain down when drawing the living room curtains. When he picked it up, the rod that slots through the net curtain, broke. We can buy a new one today (and I'll take the opportunity to wash the net curtain) but we both have "issues" with our arms and shoulders, and DS is away this weekend, so I think we'll just have to live as if in a goldfish bowl until he gets home on Monday, sigh.
Ivy my daughter has a kitchen window that looks on to a public path. She found a mirrored film from £bay so in day time She can look out and nobody from path can see in.... Night time when lights on She closes blinds as it reverses where path way walkers can see in / kitchen has no view! But its worth it for privacy. Films come in many patterns/colours too. Tuna0 -

What a dark, cold, wet and gloomy day yesterday was. A few faithful, hardy folk made it to my friend's coffee morning but she still managed to make quite a bit of money for a small local charity.
I was glad to see the end of last week. Three old friends died during the week, one of them my next door neighbour, and all of them of pneumonia following flu or heavy colds.
Today has dawned bright and sunny though still jolly cold. I should be up and doing but instead I brought my toast and coffee back to bed where I am warm and comfortable, so why not?
I hope you are all more productive today than I intend to be.
THOUGHT FOR SUNDAY
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.I believe that friends are quiet angels

ivyleaf, I also have a huge window facing a path. I installed privacy film, the sort of stuff Tuna describes. It's brilliant.0
