burtha, let me get this straight....
It is 3.50am.
You have had 2 hours sleep.
The man with the gun pointing at your head has gone home .
You are still proposing to take the dog for a run.
All I can say is that it is as well you don't have my dog. She would open one eye at me and say, "A run? At this time of night? Are you MAD?"
You say that 3mw will be missing for 2 weeks. Do you mean that in his stress filled life he is actually going to give himself a break and drag himself off to one of his luxurious holidays. Ah, the poor thing.
Well I finished up last night and posted on here but there is no sign of that post this morning. I wonder where it went?
I'm off to my friends coffee morning in a while. I will be bearing tins of cakes and biscuits. Not quite all of them are edible. The oaty biscuits that I must have made several thousand times before have ended up like rocks. Definitely a danger to teeth and a death sentence to dentures. Even Millie gave up on the one I gave her, she took it off to the garden and buried it. The rest of them may soon be joining it.
Have a good weekend everyone.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
There is no issue so small that it cannot be blown out of all proportion.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Have trouble remembering how to fly.0 -

I agree with Elona, Hester!!!
Well I have had an awful night, if I slept for more than 2 hours I'd be surprised. No doubt today will be a total wash out.
Burtha!!??? That is all!'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought
And I ain't got the power anymore'0 -
Me too I did not get to bed until after 3 am and woke before 6 am.
Opened the curtains, don't know why I bothered, sleet! I still need the light on.
Think I will tackle some cleaning today. Well overdue.
I was going to town again as one of the items I bought on Thursday at BonM still has its security tag on it. It informs me not to try and force it off as ink will spurt out, defeats the purpose of buying it. I may go later if the weather improves. I don't know why it did not trigger the alarm when I left.
I only got two draws sorted yesterday so I may do another today.
butha if you asked me to go for a run at 4 am, I would say it confirms you are mad. I would not ask you. Not that I can run, I can just about run for the bus because I do not want to wait for the next one.
monna that keeps happening to me. I check it is there but it has gone the next day.0 -
We have net curtains at our windows because we have big windows and live on a busy street.
Yesterday evening OH somehow knocked the net curtain down when drawing the living room curtains. When he picked it up, the rod that slots through the net curtain, broke. We can buy a new one today (and I'll take the opportunity to wash the net curtain) but we both have "issues" with our arms and shoulders, and DS is away this weekend, so I think we'll just have to live as if in a goldfish bowl until he gets home on Monday, sigh.

Best to wait if you're nervy but I think you'll have sore shoulder what with all the waving at the folk who crane their necks to have a neb in!
Can I tap into your wisdom fencers? Benecol products. Do you use them? Do they work? I fancy swapping butter to that but I'm torn because of my 'natural' way of thinking. To me, benecol is processed and processed should be avoided but, what with a funny heart, I'm wondering if this would be a sensible swap.
