Very glad you're staying Lyn :T

burtha You've really only just noticed we're mad? Of course you're coming on the cruise, that goes without saying! xx

karcher yay, so glad you're starting to feel better! Take things gently though while you're recovering.

There, already 3 things to be glad about this morning :j

silva Hope all goes well at the dentist.
  • Someone said earlier on the thread that they didn't want to come on the cruise as they are scared of water, can't swim and get seasick. Well me too and I live on a boat!
I'm a very poor swimmer and I get seasick, as for being scared of water, my boat sits surrounded by shiny stuff, I just refuse to acknowledge that it is water!

Yesterday I was talking to another boat owner explaining that I was having a cupboard altered soon by local joiner, I'm just waiting to find out when. The other boat owner was able to tell me when the joiner would be arriving! There are no secrets on the canals.

Apparently Nelson suffered from Seasickness, so that's no excuse.

Dear tuna, listen carefully as you are about to learn something. The last time I looked beautiful plants and flowers were in short supply on a cruise ship. Likewise flowerbeds.
However, just for you we will include some pots of herbs so that you have something to be in charge of. We will even adopt Alan Titchmarsh if it will make you happy.

burtha, get on aboard immediately, if not sooner. You are very brave in view of the way we all bully you. I warn you now that you will be made to rest whether you like it or not, even if we have to tie you into your hammock and lay you out with a rolling pin.
Ooer, tablet offered me 'hemlock' instead of hammock. Has tuna started her gardening classes already?

MMF my place at the captain's table is assured because DS1 and I (he in his pushchair) once waved to the Queen from the end of our road as she passed by on her way to Polo at Cowdrey Park. As I walked up the hill from the town a woman who lived halfway up the hill asked me why there were so many people around. I explained about the Queen coming through, whereupon she threw her cigarette into a flower bed and flew back into her cottage squawking, "Don't let her go before I've got me teeth in." I had visions of standing in the middle of the road explaining to the outriders that they had to stop the cavalcade until Jessie had her teeth back in.

OK, that's enough of nonsense. I must bend my thoughts to lunch club on Wednesday and decide what I am going to make for puddings. They are having stew and dumplings first so won't need a filling pud.

    THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Do sharks complain about Monday? No. They're up early. Biting stuff. Chasing stuff. Being scary - reminding everyone they're a shark.
I believe that friends are quiet angels

Have trouble remembering how to fly.

Just checking in with my jet lag to see how many of these cowboys I need to send over. They might be a bit confused about where they are and what's going on, but I'm sure once they're recovered from [STRIKE]the bump on the head [/STRIKE]economy class flight, they'll be fine.

Any you don't need I'll keep in the wardrobe in case of emergency...
