Love Monna's delicate phrasing of harlot's knickers - it's always been wh@re's drawers around these parts :rotfl: .0

Up and down like a bride's nightly is what I always say, because I thought only married ladies had s e x.
I told you I'm pure as the driven didn't I.Chin up, Titus out.0 -
Thank you panda. My 'delicate phrasing' as you put it, is down to me being so high class. Not to say ,'posh'.
'Harlot's knickers' is so much more genteel than 'Wh@re's drawers', 'Tart's bloomers', 'Bride's nightie' or any of the other common phrases wot I ain't heard before.
Anyway, what is s e x?
When I was at school it was what the upper classes kept their coal in.

On a more fragrant note.
I watched that video nursemaggie. How I wish I'd known about that way of wrapping before.
In the days before sellotape, when parcels had to be wrapped in brown paper and tied up with string, my friends always said that they knew which parcels came from me. Apparently they arrived with bits of their innards escaping through the gaps.
Things aren't much better now, I am dreading wrapping round cake tins. If only I had thought to get square ones.
That means wrapping round-tins, not wrapping-round tins.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Up here tarts don't wear any knickers. At least that's what I was lead to believe. Might be a bit draughty though..
I canny wrap parcels to save my life. Currently dead miffed at Hermes who yesterday lied through their teeth and said they had left my much-longed-for wool order in my shed. I live in a terraced row, only front gardens on the street here and no sheds. Only way round to my shed is via the end house's garden path and in the pitch dark. No delivery driver is going to know or attempt that. Sods.0 -
There were lots of videos on wrapping parcels. I am sure you will find something about wrapping round tins.
Wrapping for the Post, well the post office now have strong plastic self sealing bags. I saw someone with them so I bought some. It was a lot easier.
We once had a note left saying a parcel had been left in the garage. We did not have one and we lived in the city centre so there were no garages for miles around. Not that sort of garage anyway just the sort that repairs cars. We had a shed but it was well and truly padlocked we had expensive bikes then.
My Christmas Present from my older son went missing last year. The delivery people said I had reused it and sent it back. The liars they had not been anywhere near.0 -
You lot are worse than the school children on s-e-x ed day!
I ordered some lamps last year when I was away at DS1s. They arrived quicker than I thought and before I got home. There was a car through the door to say that the parcel was under the car (which was parked on the driveway). Anyway, had a look and no parcel so emailed them, no more lamps in stock so refunded. 2 days later the next door neighbour came to the door with the parcel saying they had found it under the car!

Brrr. It's chilly here today but quite bright so far.
I'm having a pottery day. That's pottery as in pottering about, not playing with clay.
Mincemeat to be made and probably a loaf and some rolls for the freezer. Maybe a bit of knitting or curling up with a book.
Phew. It's a hard life.
Keepingr all our struggling ones in my mind.

We get our coal in s e x too, but these day the s e x are plastic and contain 25 kilos, I still have to lift them to pour coal into the bucket.
The marina is frozen again and we have to move the boat ready to have the engine removed, prep being done Monday engine out Tuesday.Chin up, Titus out.0 -
