Ivyleaf. So sad for you and your family but so good that your brother is free from pain.
    Such mixed feelings.

We will all be with you in spirit as you go to be with your sister in law and wishing you only happy memories.

Thank you so much everyone. I feel like shouting "I love you all!" and blowing kisses, like the lady some of you will remember who used to come on at the end of Morecambe and Wise :D xxxxxxxxx

Oh yes Ivyleaf, I remember that lady well. You deserve all the sympathy we can manage for you. You are always the first to offer help and support to us and you really deserve everything we can do for you now.

It's pouring with rain and blowing a gale outside. I am trying to force myself to get busy editing but so far have only managed a few displacement activities. Maybe another cup of coffee will work.

  • monna When you find out how to get on with something and not just displacement activities will you tell me. I have been doing that ever since DS's work schedule mucked up my day.

Of course the noise from upstairs is only adding to my total distraction.

nursemaggie, no good asking me dear. What am I doing back here anyway? Since I posted last I have washed the kitchen and living room floor, made a large jug of soup that will last for 2 or 3 days, tidied up my bedroom and had a shower.
None of these things were on my agenda.

I must get on with the book. I must get on with the book. I must get on with the book.

    GET ON WITH THE BOOK!!!
