Knit Witch I've checked and you are free to collect and submit and submit any medical , support or other evidence which will support your case . If you haven't already asked for an appeal do so asap . It can take a long time to reach tribunal point but you will need time to collect your evidence and letters from those who support you to spell out how your mobility issues affect you .
I'm assuming daily living was granted but some of the descriptors for that cross over into mobility . It is about what you can't do in a safe and timely manner and not what you can do .
You would be best seeing your GP face to face to discuss a letter containing your difficulties and how they impact on day to day life .
You can contact any hospitals , clinics or other places involved in your care and treatment to ask them for clear information too .
Our GP printed off all DDs medications and diagnoses and wrote a letter running to a number of pages giving the full picture .
We are also copied in to all letters sent to our Dr from hospitals , clinics etc .
You can ask for that to happen in future . Keep copies of all paperwork , our Dr gave us a copy of his supporting letter without being asked .
When you get the appeal pack start to copy everything you submit and keep them together in a safe place . If you need to send anything by post send it signed for next day delivery and print the RM receipt the following delivery day and keep it with the paperwork . The most next day signed for cost me was about £3 which was worth it for the peace of knowing it had arrived safely and I had a copy of the receivers signature .
Sorry for the long post , you must be feeling so low and drained .
When last checked between 60-70% of wrong decisions are overturned at appeal . Keep that in mind and know you are welcome to ask questions or just have a rant when needed .
    Take care

Just popping back to wish Hester a good four final days at the salt mine. Pace yourself love and don't take on a mountain of sudden work which will magically appear as they consider they only have you for 4 days more.

It's very quiet on here , I haven't posted much due to a couple of bad weeks . As I haven't had any time to ponder we haven't had the wanderings into OS childhoods, books we read or even Mar armed and dangerous in pursuit of anything she considers edible .
Perhaps monna should have a ponder for us .
I am loving the thought for the day .
Hope all are well . Hugs to those in need of one or two .
Take care all and may Ophelia bypass your area .

Had a couple of bad weeks meself Pollywolly but still here. Just not pursuing anything. :)
  • Hope you feel better soon Mardymar. I don't think the weather has been doing us any favours , I was still reading at 4am this morning as it was too humid to sleep . Much cooler tonight and the wind has picked up .

Thinking of all those of you in the West today. According to Carol Kirkwood, BBC weather lady, the winds won't be as strong as in the 1987 storm, so at least that's something xx

Oops, nearly forgot; good luck with today's viewing monnagran x
  • Monna I'm sending the vibes your way. Please let the viewer fall in love with your home today and let you move forwards .

Welcome back to Sheila and all the chickens .

Hope all are well , how are you NM?

I don't remember if we have any posters in Ireland but if we do I hope you are ok today . It looks like you'll take the brunt of Ophelia .

Take care all and thinking of those struggling for various reasons at the moment . It's been a bit of a year one way and another on the fence .

Thanks you all for your good wishes. It's not so desperate because I am quite happy here but when you don't know how much future you have left, you get quite anxious to get going and make the most of it.

Nice to see you again Pollyanna, we missed you. Hope things get better for you.

Nothing of note happening here, just a lot of polishing, vacuuming scrubbing and hiding things in drawers and cupboards. Also battening down the hatches. We may not be in the eye of the storm but any wind at all tends to intensify in this wind tunnel. DS2 has been up this morning and cut the grass. I was going to say, mow the lawn, but that would have been vastly over flattering my scrubby bit of wasteland. DS2 does his best but I think it will take some years before Doras attempts to dig an escape tunnel fade into distant memory.

    THOUGHT FOR TODAY.

A closed mouth gathers no feet.
I believe that friends are quiet angels
Who lift us to our feet when our wings
Have trouble remembering how to fly.
