Hester I would also like to be a fly on the wall the week after you leave. But knowing my luck I would get swatted and squashed before I saw anything :rotfl:.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0

......especially when the photocopier breaks down and the engineer takes it to bits, discovering the rotting kipper left inside by a certain person on her last day!One life - your life - live it!0 -
RL has well and truly hit here - flu and the DWP deciding that although I got the higher rate mobility on DLA apparently now I have miraculously recovered and don't need any mobility help under PIP (oh and that is after 6 months when they ars3ed around and didn't look at it and then threw something weird and wonderful in that had NEVER been mentioned before in the mandatory reconsideration that agreed with the February decision)Must use my stash up!0

That is terrible Knit Witch. I bet we all wish that we were surprised. It's worth remembering that people are paid good money to organise these ****ups. I've supplied my own asterisks to save the sensibility monitors a job. I pray that the mess will be untangled swiftly, but realise that a miracle will be required.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY. (one for Hester and her sloes)
Always !!!!! your sausages well to make sure that they are quite dead.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Knit Witch Did you go to appeal process? You mention the MR but it's not clear if you appealed the decision .
I'm so sorry this has happened there really needs to be a consistent system using properly qualified medical staff to do both assessments and decision making .

The same thing happened to a friend on another thread; she lost her Motability car. She appealed and has recently been able to order a new car, but what a dreadful system. ((HUGS))
Hester Not long now! :j

Appeal is the next stage but 7 flipping months to give the same decision :mad::mad:Must use my stash up!0 -
Did you send medical evidence with the PIP application ? I'll need to check but I think your Dr and any others involved with your care can expand on previous input and that will be shown at the tribunal .
All those waiting months will have worn you down , it's a pretty anxiety ridden process throughout . It nearly finished my daughter off when she was moving from DLA last year . It lasted about 8 months but she was one of the lucky ones to have a qualified nurse assess her and have her mobility which was always low on DLA raised to enhanced which we didn't expect .
If like her you had assessments cancelled at short notice you'll know how flawed the process is .
I'll be thinking of you and hoping at some point some sort of level playing field comes about . It's too random and target driven now .
If only we could rule the world .
Take care
