Busy day today....b and q with DD to look for paint, panel pins, screws, bin bags etc, then to home base for more paint not available in the first shop. Home for quick lunch then out to take Dad for his new glasses and a bit of food shopping while he could have a look in the shop for something different! Temp in car on way home was 31c!😎 a bit too hot for me after pushing a wheelchair around.
Dinner was a bit later than usual so I'm going to wash the dishes and do half an hour in the garden.
Hope everyone is coping with the warm weather.2025 Fashion on the ration

Just lost a long post. It's so hot the laptop is not happy. Hope everyone manages some sleep.I've remembered to get the fan out so hopefully that will help cool things down.Going to see which meds are involved in the pharmacy shortages problem. Hope it isn't going to be inhalers again that was a nghtmare near the start of the pandemic. Shocking how many people convinced GPs they wete asthmatic without a diagnosis. many admitted on social media they lied in case they got covid. Meanwhile my two younger dds who need both inhalers reguarly were panicking in case they rsn out.I seemed to spend sges at the pharmacy counter waiting for those items on repeat. Not their fault but chancers with no idea how scary it is not to be able to breathe. They wouldn't have got further with superdoc than being pointed to the way out.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.4 -

east at the right time!!!!
I'm going slow today as I seem to plod more as it gets hotter, so I'm treating myself to some extra internet time. I never posted much on any of the MSE forum threads, but this was my favourite one to lurk a bit on, am I missing something or does it seem that it is not so busy these days???3 -
I think people are enjoying the sunshine, @MollyWindley
Hopefully it will pick up again when folks go back to regular routines! Good to see you here.

I suspect you're right MrsCD, just because I am hiding from the heat doesn't mean that everyone else is, some people enjoy it!!!

I hope you find some refuge from the heat in the campervan and have a good rest and get well quickly!!
I'm trying to muster some get up and go to walk up to the urban woods behind my house and photograph the ever decreasing pond there, however it's now hit 30C which means I will wait until this evening and instead try and raise some money for a new shower ( ours only works on cold now) by putting stuff on ebay......my enthusiasm for ebaying is low, but cold showers are going to lose their novelty when this hot period ends..............3 -
Uurrggghh, burtha! Hope you feel better soon. Sickness bugs are bad enough without having to deal with the heat as well. Don't forget to replenish your electrolytes etc. Get some rehydration sachets from the chemist's. They'll help you recover better.2025 Fashion on the ration
