monnagran said:I miss the chatty garden fence too. My problem is that I spend altogether too much time on my tablet and posting takes me a long time.
Anyway, I hope that you are all coping with this strange way of life.
burtha, I often wonder how you are getting along. You sound so much happier these days. I reckon that MrThreeMinuteWonder did you a big favour when he shuffled off. It was tough for you at first, but look where you are now!!!
I still love you all.I've been wondering how you are monna. I wasn't sure if you were watching Judge Judy on repeat and shouting at the tablet.Mr 3mw is thankfully history now and I'm so proud of burtha for going through the tough times living in that cold house and doing her utmost for the young ones. She really did come out on top.In other news my "inconvenient" memory had a slight change last year. I remember everything else except the plots and characters in books I've read before. That's proved I was right not to do the full Kondo. I'm rereading books from the past . Very mse and lovely not to be haunting bookshops. Only two new books since last year which for me is a first.I hope all is well with you and yours and your lovely grandson is coping ok. I often smile about him cleaning Grannies windows. His heart is in the right place.Love you backpollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

hi all , thank you xxx
I'm good , work a new kind of busy so very odd times , .. mri scan results came back as it hasn't grown and looks duller than it did so could suggest it's not as active , so fingers crossed.. now i just plod on , could go down the route of strong pain killers that will wipe me out and probably not get rid of the headache anyway . so that's not really me , I'll wait till i have no choice ..... fingers crossed I don't have any seiziers or anything else to add into the mix .
so it's good news ...
so .... other news ,
1. I had my vaccine yesterday, all good .
2. The Frog is still in Portugal ... just a case of sitting this one out for now , he's safe and in a remote location so just waiting to.see what happens regarding travel . at this point I don't think he will be back before March, so thankfully thanks to live chats ect ect... at least I can speak/see him everyday .
3. youngest daughter is slowly getting there, ... we have been doing food logging and she has been on the crosstrainer for 10 mins each day since Jan 1st ... small steps on a long road . plus she came for a walk yesterday, first time out the house in weeks, so that's fab .

thanks Polly,
frog is with his 85 year old dad over there , so it's just the way it has to be . it's probably safer over there , fresh air / more space and temperatures about 15 degrees.
travel may be more of a risk ???
wait and see ..
a virtual fence birthday party would be wonderfull x£223/ £250 GC8 -
Burtha, you will join the ranks of the Golden ones on your 50th so how about a golden themed celebration day? See if people will give you gold-themed presents, gold coloured jewellery and accessories, gold makeup, box of Ferraro Rocher, toiletries with a gold theme......decorate your house with gold decorations, do food with a gold colour scheme (not all gold, that would be too much), play music from the year of your birth, also songs like The Stranglers Golden Brown and Shirley Bassey's Goldfinger, you get the idea. Tell your immediate family you want a gold themed birthday with a party, and see what they come up with. You could have a James Bond Goldfinger themed party, have a roulette wheel or a card table, even if it's just Happy Families or Snap for the younger ones. Lots of potential for fun to be had, and obviously the party would be held taking into account the official rules of household mixing at that time.
On the Fence of course you will have another gold party, and we will all be bringing along the real 22carat jewellery etc. Now I am off to source a supply of gold body paint for the resident waiters. Volunteers to apply the paint please form an orderly queue behind Monnagran. One life - your life - live it!8 -

What Fence?MingVase dear it seems you are confused. Of course you have no knowledge of a police dog and their handler. I was referring to someone who belongs to a strange Scottish family. Oddly all their names begin with M. Mardatha, Mardywotsit and the infamous Madarthur. There is also Mar who seems to be the most reasonable of the clan.I have noted your name begins with M. If you live in Scotland steer clear of the other Ms.BTW Have you ever decided to bake gingerbread and disguise your home as a gingerbread house? Just curious.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
