tommoro I have an mri scan,  see if this flipping Tumor has grown , it's better not have .. don't find out the results till early Jan,  and that's terrifying  .. as always . but big girls pants on and get on with it I suppose .  .

Three weeks missing in action again. I've made more comebacks than Sinatra.

Hoping all is well in January with the scan results burtha and your youngest manages to work her way through the breakup. It's a big positive she's talking things through with you.. She sounds much more engaged than when she kept things inside which will help her move forward.

All has been well after I mentioned bringing dds details up on the screen at the pharmacy. I've had two lovely pharmacists since who checked everything was present and correct so thanks again for your advice which seems to have solved the situation. Take care and love to you and yours.

Well the uneaten breakfast (good old porridge with gold top milk and some sneaky golden syrup) became brunch.

I don't watch a lot of tv especaily in the daytime but like many others I've turned on for the news each morning.

I'm not someone who cries easily . I try to stay positive , look for solutions or ways tp cope with things I can't fix.

Youngest and I have done everything possible to protct ourselves and others since the beginning of March.

Whenever I've headed home I've had a lump in my throat leaving her.

The footage on BBC this morning of"The Secret Choir" singing for their loved ones in the care home and the amazing staff who left their loved ones and stayed with them through the long months brought the tears at last..

I think they were healing . So many have done the right thing and tried like Pollyanna to play the glad game. i do play the glad game and focus on the positives but I don't think I'll be the only viewer to shed those tears, pick myself up and be grateful family and friends are still with us and very rare very socially distanced visits have helped in that.

I hope everyone finds some joy and peace in the oddest of days whether with loved ones or alone.

Thinking of those who have lost loved ones this year and those struggling with long covid.

Making it through the year is something to be grateful for.

Odd to be alone but my favourite lamb casserole is in the oven , parsley dumplings to be added later. No big shops and apart from taxi  fares when needed I've spent a lot less than I normally would .
