I have no idea what a butterfly loom is but if you give me 5 mins with Google I'll be with you (and hoping you don't inspire me to start another craft :D)

Have I got this correct Hester? Is it possible to weave a granny square? Oh 'eck! The mind is flying with opportunity. :D

I've been googling these looms too, they make very pretty wee squares.
I seem to be myself on the big laptop but the Vase on this wee one... schizophrenia is confusing :D

Well. Got the big laptop back and suddenly I'm now Mardatha again! I was just getting used to being a Ming Vase too..

I wondered where you'd disappeared off to... Didn't realise you'd been posting as Ming Vase. Did a search today and realised why your old username had disappeared for a while!

Big laptop turned Barbie pink and I need to get it fixed. The Madarthur password is locked in it's bowels and I canny get it out! :rotfl::rotfl:
  • I hope you get your laptop sorted soon.

We've had a few really cold nights and Beano kept trying to get under the covers with us, last night I wrapped him in his blanket and he slept all night without trying to get under the covers..

We've done five locks, three swing bridges and walked about three miles today

Oh that's quite a long way then Hester. I'm very bad for geography of England I only know where a few big towns like Blackpool or York or Newcastle and obv London. Always always wanted to see London but not going to happen now. (Harrods!!! Be still my heart!!!) :D:D:D

Dragged out of bed this morning still half dead on second espresso.
Cool calm grey morning and coos being nosy over my back fence, they look like a line of large chorus girls looking into my kitchen.
  • It would take us about 6 months to get to London at the speed we travel, lol.

mar/mv whichever you are answering to today, I've been in and out of London all my long life, and every time I get back I have a headache and swear - NEVER AGAIN.
I have also been to Harrods, quite by accident. We were meeting some friends outside, but as soon as the taxi drew up a flunkey rushed up, opened the door and ushered us up the steps into the Food Hall before we had caught our breath. Fighting a fit of the giggles we bought a pound of sausages, because we thought we would probably be arrested if we tried to leave without buying anything, and beat a hasty retreat.
They tasted like any other common or garden sausages if I'm honest.
I believe that friends are quiet angels
Who lift us to our feet when our wings
Have trouble remembering how to fly.
