+1 being automatically logged out, and a 'green' user (thought it might just be me that didn't find the new site too easy to read - poor separation of the posts on the Forum thread pages).

The green style is much better than the new style. So much so that if the new style becomes compulsory I shall stop posting.

Ok, so we are all agreed that it is a PITA and a barrier to site use. The thread is moved to site feedback. So how about some feedback from MSE on whether this is what they intended and, if not, whether it is fixable. If not, I'm off elsewhere!

No idea which forum style I'm using though as the masthead "welcome to MSE forums" is blue I presume its the one everyone here seems to hate, doesn't bother me, but being logged out seemingly every time i stop looking at the screen is REALLY annoying.

Just what was the point of this change? Its not a bank or a credit card system, I'm not booking flights through my frequent flyer account or redeeming points at a retailers online account, its just a forum for goodness sake. What bright spark thought this was a good idea?
