There's weird stuff going on with some sites on the Internet in the last couple of days:

    - MSE forum logs me out
    - MSE login page now no longer uses SSL (did it before?)
    - Morningstar no longer uses SSL, even on the login page (I thought it did before...)

Not sure if this is all related but it is a bit strange.

Just returned to the site and it is logged off again.

Oh, good to know it's not just me. Logged of twice today - something that hasn't happened in months, if ever.

Is it just me or is the 'new' site really hard to see/read? I cant see which posts I've read and which I haven't.
The ,new' site has been running parallel to the old one for over a year now but I have avoided it as much as I can as I can't read the new one. Its all too pale - even with my glasses on its not good for someone with some sight issues.

I've had the same problem today - I dislike the sickly blue and the screen format.

I just change back as soon as it happens.

 I've had this same issue a few times today, despite no cookies being cleared out between visits.

Just come back and.....yes, it had logged me out.

The new(ish) presentation layer is (was) 'fresher' that the old but it does not aid the eye in being drawn to the next context, i.e. reading left to right, it is form over function, and hence my continued use of the old style. Having said this, a lot of the changes were forced on to the site by the big online Co's (Google etc).

As LABMAN posted, I will post on the site feedback forum.

Another great example of a bad upgrade is the HotUKDeals (Android) app. The previous version was almost excellent, insofar as it did what it needed to do; simply, easily, cleanly, and most importantly for an online process intuitively.
