  • Thanks, interview done and dusted :D lovely company that seem very stable. Lots of work coming in and they'll need more DC's as they grow. He's got a few more to interview next week & will make a decision on the 19th. He stated that first impressions were that I appear nice and certainly more experienced than the others he's to interview (I'm taking that as a positive sign!)
  • Glad you had a lovely holiday. Can not believe that someone sold your Nectar points. How does that even happen? Hope you get them back. Fingers crossed about the job. x

  • Morning,

I'll start off with the bad things:

DH's car needed new brakes and pads total cost £1K
BC has gone up due to above
DH's needs new tyres - not done yet
We had crap pizza last night and won't order from that place again :(
DH had a prang in his car 50/50 blame but still his excess to pay :(

    Good things:
DD got off to a brilliant start at secondary school and is beating her brother with reward points.....she has 30, he has yet to get off the starting blocks :)
DS has looked after his sister at school this week and helped her settle in
    Meal plan worked well
AFD's and NSD's going ok too

So a mixed bag this week, not happy about the car but his company insist on image as they (inc him) see lots of clients which in turn creates revenue.

Moving on as I'm not dwelling on it.

    Things to do today:
Washing and can hang out for a while before it rains
Food shopping, only need top up bits
Need to do some work, will make it easier next week
Cooking for next week if needed
  • Shame about DH's car. I know the feeling as DH's van has breaks to get and a new (Well second hand new) exhaust. But if his company is all image.....do they not pay for the car?

Sorry about the car. Glad your dd has settled well at school.
  • But if his company is all image.....do they not pay for the car?

Not as such, he does get a car allowance though.
  • He more annoyed about the fact he's done 13,000 miles and they needed doing where as the car before this one he'd done 20,000 miles and never needed to change the brakes or tyres in all that time.

Ouch to the car bills! :(

That's annoying about the nectar card too, someone stole my subway ( :D ) card points once and they did give them back, but blamed me even though my card was supposedly used the other side of the country!

  • Morning PMO2,

Wow what a week for you! So glad the kids are settled into school well.

Boooo to the car, they say it comes in 3's and I'm sure you've had your 3 now.

    Have a lovely weekend xx
