  • What is the transport fee for? A school bus? I would have thought you would be able to pay for something like that monthly as that is an awful lot to find in one go isn't it! Glad youve got sorted though xx

Yes, it's so DD can get to school in September. Thankfully the letter that was with the invoice confirmed the DD has been set up.

    Good morning and Happy Saturday.

Bit miffed this morning, DD goes away to camp next Friday. Her leader said she'd email information/kit list out a few weeks ago, nothing received, so I emailed her on Monday and yesterday as well posting on the FB page. Still nothing today

I'm tempted to change her over to the other local one.

    And breathe!!!!!

Cashed out £12.32 from PA, so £11.77 in PayPal. This will go off the Cap One once it hits the bank, hopefully today.

Things to get done this weekend:
    • Washing
    • Ironing
    • Food shopping - DONE
    • Move money to pay off BC
    • Check meal plan - DONE
    • Do more of my tapestry
    • Housework
    • Wrap DD's presents ready for Tuesday
    • Shop for DD's camp - waterproofs etc
    • Uniform shopping

Uniform shopping, the kids don't need much so should be fairly cheap.

    Back later
  • PayPal funds hit the bank, so £11.77 has been paid off the BC.

I like your idea of using one specific thing to clear a cc.

One thing on my list is to just use survey money & Quidco money to clear the BC next year. That way I'm not stretching the other money to fit that one in.
  • Morning,

Finally the information and kit list has come through **rolls eyes** need to sort that today. DD goes at 3pm on Friday :)

Uniform bought bar shoes & trainers & socks for DD. Glad it's only once a year.

Dinner is beef casserole tonight and the lump of beef I bought 2 months ago, I've defrosted half of it so I can use that. Cheap dinner :)

Still got my list to work through so more of that should get done today.

    Back later.

Hope you have a nice break from work.
  • Morning,

Not been about for a few days, I've been catching up on house stuff (boring, I know!)

Uniforms done, just DD's school shoes to get. Which is proving annoying as she needs some suitable for secondary school but the only ones we can find look good for primary school only.

DD's birthday yesterday, we didn't spend loads on her but she loved all she got. Took the kids and her friend to the cinema to watch Despicable Me 3 (£20) and then McD's after (£16), bought snacky bits from Tesco for the cinema so a fairly cheap day and DD said she loved her birthday :D:D

My friend and her little boy are coming up to visit today, we're going to the local park, cheap lunch at the pub and then over to the other park to feed the ducks and geese, so should be a fairly cheap day again.

Need to nip to the sorting office to pick up DD's parcel, a present from my mum.

Some surveys done as much as I can do and I'm on the final straight with Onepoll :)
