    1. Lovely bus driver who stopped short of the bus stop as the day before when he stopped he showered me with Hawthorne petals. He had as apologised as he was laughing.

    2. Had chats with someone at work while avoiding someone else.

    3. Enjoyed my walk home. Watching birds over a field.

    4. A tidy greenhouse.

    5. Tea in the garden with DH with a glass of wine. We ended up staying out and watching the bats.

:T to younger son of Frith

    Wednesday pleasures,

Capt S off early for interview, suspects he is over-qualified but we will see.

Made myself busy cleaning windows, only problem is we then had several baby birds hit the windows when practising their flying skills, so perhaps should have left them dirty :(

DN texted to say that she has got a job, will start in July once college course has finished.

Pork kebabs with SP wedges for tea, only problem was suspect soaked the bamboo skewers a tad too much as a couple broke, either that or I loaded them too much :D

We have discovered the Forgotten programme and binge watched the first series.
  • V Now as yous are aware at the mill were BoP works, we has gone around the red bricks and gathered in some wet behind the ear peoples. Now is there turn to be properly trained by a hairy mothers one like me! My intern of 19 years of on education is progressing. Set him a project yesterday, and how to present a report. He said that in all his 19 years of no education, not once had anyone said how to actually write a presentation that we need in the mill. Don’t get me started! Mind you when he does come out of the red brick, he will be 25, saddled with debt! Me, it is coming now 40 since the ONC in Dec 78! Findus and then trade in RAF. Still 7/9ths of my first pension I had earned is payable in just over 40 months time!

Main thing is I give a project that builds on interpersonal skills. As now is the time that everyone scrambles to think an ology and A things can get you on in life, it was 40 years ago on the apprenticeship that they took half the pay and made you work elsewhere to make it up. So it is not just going to stay on at school, get another part time job in the bar or elsewhere, so you learn to deal with hairy mothers one like me!

At the mill when you cut the cloth, I can see your core skills from the course you did. I get that extra info on your interpersonal skills from the experience you worked! May not seem important at the time, but behind the counter counts!

    Rant Over!

4 Watched the ladies playing cricket last night! Everything good on the Engerland front. Had noshs tea of prawns ricettes! A new version of super roulette. Recipe still being developed so details later! Is currently being approved by BoPsie! Watch the BoPiness News for details!

3 On neighbore cat watch this weak, so I has to not only make sure BoPsie gets her breakfast, lunch box and things, feed Raffles, but also feed neighbours cat as well. Just want to know how I can do this, sit, shave and shower in the time it takes BoPsie to shower! Minds me, need a new foil for my face rotorvator! Note, in case you are upset that BoP shaves, he has a goatie beard that is ruff!

2 day inn the Boxed Lunch tin we has Salad, ham, two digestives, mini peelers, apple and a trifle. Tum is being rubbed!

Having a right one today! Nows I has forgets what I had to say again.
I is eating my apple, you know what that does for you?

PM2DD We is off against the stale mincers and then the GIMPS!

Hello . It's been nice to look at from inside today but slightly spoiled by a cold windy wind.

I've been very lazy today. Had a bath and read a book. That just about sums it up! Just finished reading book.

Doggy friend popped in briefly in afternoon.

Just put some veggie sausages in oven for my tea with some salad and rice.

Son had millionaire shortbread and tablet ice cream for tea!

Life will busy up again tomorrow !

Hopeless case do try lemonade scones , the mix will seem a lot wetter than ordinary scone mix but the results are worth it! Lovely and light! It's a very Australian thing!

1 What a busy few days, as of today DF’s house is ready for market. Handed over the keys to the estate agent, they photograph on Monday and have viewings booked. DB and myself had a wobbly last night over are they the right agents, what are we doing etc, came to the conclusion we’ve been guided and recommended this one.
2 I became emotional when in effect it was ready and done and we realised he was the last “original” person to leave the road, the waterworks kicked in, but it must move to the next phase, part of the sales blurb will be this property is available for the first time since 1958!
3 A whole car load of things to find homes for here and a trailer load now loaded into the car for a tip run tomorrow of his old carpets cut up into bags, fills the car, with his mattress also.
4 DFs towels have now become emergency pet towels for if needed currently running through the wash.
5 We’ve managed without shopping all week from the freezer but soon to run out of milk.
6 His massive bird bath and bird feeders are now ensconced here.
7 We have a lot of stuff we need both find places here for some, and rapidly keep momentum to sell the rest on as we are imploding.
8 Travelled back with our little ill one still with us, curled up on my lap the whole journey.
9 Writing to do lists so I don’t forget.

    Quick pleasures for today (Thursday).

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Work went OK with several other staff members being very chatty today.

    3) Laid all the weed proof membrane then the gravel arrived for the new area where the porch had been. Looks better but I'll need several more bags to finish it properly.

    4) Popped to Sainsburys and saw on our smaller son's TAs.

    5) Went to see the chickens and picked a bowl of raspberries and some radishes while I was there.

    6) Watched Humans with bigger son.

    7) About to try and listen to Teenage Diaries again - I keep going to sleep! I have heard the first half of John Finnemore's diary 3 times now, so I will start listening from the middle.

    Good Morning Folks!

HC I find using half the recommended dose of many things saves money.........I cut dishwasher tablets in half, double dilute conditioner and only use half the recommended dose of washing liquid. Usually, no effect on performance! So, well done on half doses of caffeine :rotfl:

    Last few days.....

    1. Fathers Day meal with DS1 and 2. Lovely food at Cafe Rouge. Paid with Clubcard vouchers and gift card, so real money was minimal. :j

    2. Had a breakthrough at work. Finally someone has listened to me!

    3. Observation.....kids had a lovely lesson. They made polystyrene planes. I think the feedback will not be good. I’m all enthusiasm, no skill! :rotfl:

    4. Beautiful weather.

    5. Planted some hanging baskets and pots with my reduced to clear plants.

    Have a lovely day :)

    1. Very quiet day at work. Chatted with people and left slightly early.

    2. Made it to the post office and sent a parcel.

    3. Walk back from post office and saw someone I hadn't seen in a while and had a good catch up.

    4. Watered the garden and got soaked again.

    5. DS2 cooked tea.
