1 Placed an a$da order as we have free delivery and they are the only place that does some named animal treats cheaper than anywhere else, the order looks odd but the animals will be happy.
2 We travelled off to visit the in laws in deepest darkest Kent and had a lovely time as always.
3 Travelling home in the wee hours I saw amazing orange / gold lightening and 4 forks in a row of it.
4 Cuddled our little ferret all the way home, we are taking him everywhere with us as he needs feeding, he’s adoring it, he has cancers so sadly it won’t be a good outcome as we’ve opted for him to enjoy life rather than pull him through Chemo as they discovered both bone and lymph C’s. We give him meds twice a day and he’s lived a month longer than they thought he would, still enjoying life to the full. But it will hit very hard as he’s been everywhere with us now and done more than his fair share of PR with people going wow I never knew they could be like this.
5 A white owl flew literally right along side us for part of the journey home.
1 Weather is/was wonderful.:)
2 Washing is on the line.
3 Strange order arrived much to pets delight, and I discovered angel delight sugar free!
4 I had 2 maxi dresses that weren’t quite right so rather than not wear them I had the right shape in one for the long skirt bottom half, and the right halter top in the other chopped both and added some bits to the top and sewed to make them into one good one. Tried it on and I am very happy, DH even complimented how good it is!
5 Various presents for DB and DH wrapped, nothing due until next month just trying to be organised.0 -
Evening all
Five pleasures for Sunday:
1. Heard my first cuckoo of the year today.
2. A very fearless jackdaw arrived in our garden this morning and seemed determined to stay put.
3. Made a sort of garden cane rack out of old pallets and sorted out the canes. Things are getting tidier and tidier at the allotment.
4. Yet more digging/weeding in the sunshine listening to 'The Mill on the Floss'. Spent over seven hours there today in two sessions.
5. Very good salad for my supper with the end of some smoked salmon trimmings thrown in. Yummy.
Sweet dreams

4. Went to local independent garden centre and bought some water butts.
5. Had a BBQ.0 -
Ha :rotfl: DD I’m a witch, I’m a witch (for blackadder fans) good luck for today!
You are a lovely Mum to your animals PK comfort vibes for your little chap.
Sunday pleasures,
Another early morning walk with little dog, the hedgerows are ablaze with blossom and full of birdsong.
Best Suffolk back bacon with scrambled eggs for breakfast.
There is a family of blackbirds in the garden and the parents bring the youngsters onto the grass to feed, both Mum and Dad blackbirds look whip thin but keep shoving the worms into their babies beaks.
Another binge watch on Broadchurch, now on S3.
TV off and a few games of Yahtzee.0 -
Good luck to chief man MSE! It is not just on the buck thing that people are being ripped off! One site, cannot pull it up here at mill, goes to what looks like the Daily Mirror. It is not! Avoid! Use rules of BoP. No 3: If it promises riches, it is them who get rich! No 65: Short arms. Deep pockets. Take inn of scams on BuckFace this day. Don’t click. The pension scams are also running riot! Use the pension advice service.
Now we has straightened that out!
DD Stranglers at the Winter Gardens. We expressed to our Geography Teacher, Ms NiceOne, how much we had enjoyed them. She just quaffed about seeing The Rolling Stones who were better! We ended up in her class as punishment from the man who could not teach! It was not a punishment!
V BoP was on tour on Saturday, and no it was not Anderby Creek either! Kite Sheds at Old Warden. Shuttleworth collection. Every three year old should be told to attend! BoP was inn his element. Full English Snorker fest, than a walk around the hangars. Boy with toys! Lunch was also had. We stayed overnight on the A1. Fillet stakes and wobbleades were consumed! Tum was rubbed! New toy was purchased for the yard! More later!
4 All that was done by splashing BoPsie’s cash. See notes above, if you has deep pockets, you can! Not only that, but extra wobbleade chits has arrived via sell offs! This will be liquidated at the weakened! Usual Rules!
3 So as BoP was away, the usual snorker fest at home had to be done on Sunday instead. Good old tum rub was had. And then we set up BoP’s new weather vane thingy toy, and had tea on the plaza! Raffles was confused! Talk inn of Raffles being confused, when BoP feeds neighbours cat, I get there without his shadow. But BoPsie, he is so protective! As we were away FryDay night, we had to get other neighbour to feed both cats! BoPsie popped round to check, and Raffles followed! When she fed neighbour’s cat, raffles was pressed up on her flap. She thought it funny when she left, Raffles beat her to our hou8se and was waiting in the hall! You cannot beat cats!
2 Night to prepare for the visit to Anderby Creek, BoP is inn the gym! Got to be beach ready! Too much puppy fat needs to be trimmed this week!
PM2DD Another weekend of nails being chewed! And an old team Ayr were beaten yesterday Arrrgh. At least we still have something to play for!
This missive has nothing to do with any actual event. Please seek independent advice before attempting to try one of BoP’s recipes!0 -
Just waiting on friend coming round and mechanic to look at my car...so I shall post whilst waiting.
Well, I'm glad we have a new baby prince. I was home within 6 hours of having my third and was happier for being at home.
It's lashed with rain most of the day. Managed to get a morning walk with Haggis that was dry but the rest have been wet. Chilly too. Have just put the heating on ( mainly as I'm having company)
Spent 4 hours at mums. Phoned charity shop,so they will collect tomorrow . Have filled 7 bags. I will go round first thing to put them out for her.
Much rubbish in bins or recycled. And another flaming 3 bags round to mine! I do not need to buy anything new for a while.
Made a macaroni with bacon, mushrooms, onion, ham through it for my tea. DD2 had tuna pasta ( that was 2 meals worth but she ate it all)0 -
Pleasures for today (Monday).
1) Got a few bits done this morning and cleaned and dusted the stairs and landing.
2) Hens well and did about 45 minutes of digging on the allotment.
3) The house at the end of our row where the poor chap died in a collision at the beginning of February is now shored up on props and traffic lights outside our house controlling the traffic around the crossroads. It has been sad to walk past the police tape and cones for nearly 3 months.
4) Picked bigger son up from college. He is doing really well - has nearly finished all the practical work so soon won't have to go in on Thursdays. He has also passed 3 exams (1 left to take) where a lot of the class haven't (you can retake up to 5 times). I think he'll have finished this course by the end of May so must find him something to do until September - if he doesn't get the apprenticeship he has applied for.
5) Popped to mum and dad's to take them some rhubarb and my brother checked the oil in my car (dipstick almost impossible for me to reach). Also had a conversation about swapping the window washer motor as it hasn't worked since last year meaning I have to take a bottle of water with me everywhere to chuck on the windscreen if it gets dirty. I was describing how it makes a NNNNNnnnnn noise but no water comes out - and then it suddenly burst into life and is now working perfectly! My sister and niece were also at mum and dad's, which was nice.
6) Smaller son was on good form when he came home. Popped to Sainsburys and bought a solar light for the garden as they were reduced to 80p.
7) In bed and about to watch the Island with bigger son.0 -
Evening all - been awol again. i think i may put a daily reminder in my diary - something to cross off, also!:p
Pleasures recently
1. The weather - what can i say, I'm a sunshine girl. Eating dinner and then breakfast in the garden
2. Watching the responses come in to my questionnaire distribution (what isn't so great is watching the return to sender emails)
3. Getting the house and garden tidied and clean at last
4. OH's birthday. DS came back for it and we all went out.
5. My ospreys have laid an egg :T
Hope to be more regular here once again.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
nd went to one of &'s lost spots to read, reflect etc. Suddenly, there was local aristo...again. & was on hidden margin of some of his land...we both realised this happened once before and had really interesting talks about all around. Same again yesterday. We watched the huge sullen slate storm moving around and giving us only a few drops. He says he'll put some old airfield maps in his car for when we meet again, as & mentioned upkeep of a local-ish RNZAF grave[post passim].
Chat much enjoyed.

Well, this new lay-out still doesn't work for &, so think Hit Submit is wise while poss.

Oh pooooooops. 2/3 of post lost.
Carp. Can't re-do.
More Meriva II chapters tmrw sans doute......just want to be reasonably reliably assured of safe, steady motoring and, of course, can't go auctioning without that. Annoying, as Lots for tmrw night are all ready and waiting and need trailer.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
