    Good morning lovely people.

DfV We still quote our children’s sayings from when they were small, in the same way other people quote films........ Can’t really quote them now they are big, as they don’t really talk to one another. :(

    Yesterday

    1. New crown at the dentist and it didn’t hurt. ( He is amazing). I am also, truly in awe at the skill of a dental technician who can make me a tooth from the horrid mould, which fits perfectly without even seeing me! Thank you NHS.

    2. Sent an EBay parcel, listed a few more, sold some more. DH does not think it is worth my time and efforts maintaining the EBay Empire.........has no trouble spending the money on his vinyl collection.

    3. Paper craft workshop at Hobbycraft. Made a card for DD birthday. Pleasant afternoon. Wandered around a few nice shops.

    4. IKEA for meatballs and picture frames. Found new cushion covers for front room sofa, 2 in the reduced corner........4 cushion covers for £11 :j

    5. Another Make! Programme last night, and The City The City. Stayed up far too late, but it’s the holidays!

    Have a lovely weekend :)

Hope you are ok &?, please pm if I can offer any practical help, lifts etc.

    Friday pleasures,

Bit of a lie-in after rough night.

Sunny and windy so perfect drying day, started on winter coats and scarves, hopefully haven’t peaked too soon!

Not very os but I went to equestrian store for hard feed and came away with two lead ropes and a royal blue saddle pad as well. In my defence the lead roles were on offer and the pad was.......too lovely to leave in store and looks beautiful on my girl :rotfl:

Talking of whom, someone fell asleep with head resting on the post whilst I was combing through her mane.

Glass of wine, bit of dark choc and Googlebox.

Back and cranking up wretched desktop.
First thing noticed[apart from Thanks all disappeared again]is your kind offer, Lainey:-) Bless you and thankyou.

    1. Well, here be & - and so grateful to NHS, Addenbrookes and speed of letter which took & back, within 5 days. As Carla and Katherine both said, to my repeated surprise and thanks, 'anything like this, we keep times very tight.' My word, they did. All day, various examinations/tests, no draining required for 3 small things at this stage, but will now be super-monitored. Bless and fight for our NHS and Addenbrookes.

    2. Strangeness of subsequent hours/day and many thousands of steps+much reflection. In an Oxfam, bought a v.good gold chain, £24.99, ideal for sthg long intended, being worn as we speak.

    3. Yesterday did happen therefore, lunch as planned with old uni/near village friend. Her Group-on main course+wine voucherx2 combined perfectly with &'s MrT CafRouge £20 Use-up reminder. We had a super lunch, marvellous afternoon, excellent CS meanders[her silk+linen bnwt Italian frockie for an upcoming wedding, with perfect silk and cashmere scarfy thing - stunning combo., tho' from different CSs], then a trawl around her garden. Everything coming up bonkersly. She's never grown broad beans, but there one is, growing out of a log...and flowering!

    3. & was rather good, for &, only 2 No More Books and only 1 very Leach-looking large studio pottery jug, plus this:
    https://picclick.co.uk/Royal-Memorabilia-The-Coronation-Panorama-Cut-Out-Book-1937-292404783754.html
All present and correct, if already cut out, but prob. still worthwhile for Spits, to which & will rtn next week.

    4. Just discovered and read, as wouldn't oblige with mob. SRUFC supporters all much urged to vital and vociferous support this arvo. We must gain a bonus point to avoid [eek! another] r-e-l-e-g-a-t-i-o-n[Only spelling it. Not to be voiced.] Am correctly dressed in claret/blue/white as we speak. Will shortly place peacock feather earrings in matching orifices. In a bop-plead style borrow: all spare urgings and uppings and screamings and shoutings and Crossing The Line and Converting to be ethered onto the Davey Field this arvo, please.

    5. Wealthy woman is &. Have it here as we speak - paper receipt[also took till pic] for tendered change from Red Cross shop, of....wait for it...
twelve million, three hundred and forty-five thousand, six hundred and eighty-six pounds and ninety-five pence.
    Anyone? :-))))
    ~
    Good weekends all round.
Thankyou all for many reading pleasures, however eventually viable/visible.

Hello, just waiting on Casualty coming on. With a big dog sat next to me.

    For today :)
Up early. Washing on. Dishwasher on. Doggy walk...slipped in the mud and landed on my knee. Just after I'd seen a heron and mallard in the next field.

Came home a tad muddy and whilst still muddy planted out my not so little lavender plug plants. No frost forecast for next week so hoping they will be okay.

Walked to get eyebrows waxed. Then walked to my mums. Was there for a couple of hours. Did her ironing then we did a bit of decluttering. Took a bag of out of date meds to pharmacy. Have 2 bags of clothes for charity. I have quite a few new to me clothes. Was like a bag lady walking home. Also recycled some plastic and paper. This was a huge breakthrough! It's a huge job. This didn't even touch the surface!

Up till early afternoon it had been pleasantly mild and dry then the heavens opened. Had to run out and grab washing.

I've asked my friends to help me out with a collection of sanitary products for a local charity. To help those with period poverty. Had a great response from friends and lots of promises of help. I got in touch with local contact and will drop off when everyone drops off to me. One friend who I've not seen since I came home popped in with a big bag of stuff.

My SIL and partner came a-visiting late afternoon. Always lovely to see them and such good fun. My kids adore them both. They came with gifts of cakes and flowers. Haggis loves them too! Much laughter which is always good.

    A good day :)

Sorry to hear that, Ampersand, but good that the NHS are "on it".

    Pleasures for today (Saturday)

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Started reading the library books I chose yesterday.

    3) Hens well.

    4) Popped to see my sister for a cup of tea and to admire the work she has started in her garden.

    5) Made a date, banana and walnut cake. Didn't have any dates so threw in some frozen berries and it worked out well.

Call this bookending, as & awaits choc/raspberry slice readiness from oven.

    1. BONUS POINT, big time:j:dance::j71-19, and those 19 were from utter sloppiness. Oh happy day, halloo-hallay:D. But we're not safe yet. Better than losing by one annoying point though, which happened last week. Toulon suffered duplicate fate, although their match this weekend is postponed. Further, French couple happened to be in stand in front of &. Son is at Cambridge. As always, & is lifted by speaking bop's fave foreign language;)

    2. Secret Party catering for vicar, in 10-ish hours' time. Last bit baking now, as per intro. Also done, 2 savoury slices - 1xcheesy egg, cream, leek and bacon; 1xcherry toms/fonds d'artichauts/tiny gammon pieces/grated onion, tom. pur!e, cream cheese, basil. All look+smell good.

    3. Just enough pastry left for 2 little cherry berry jam turnovers. Ooh look! they just jumped up on &'s bedside cabinet, right alongside &'s black green tea.

    4. Called in early to Friday lunch friend with promised books and a spade-divided mat of golden marjoram. It's lovely stuff. Sumptuous box of amazing chocs happened to be waiting for &......

    5. Returning from rugby, strangely deep roseate pink/lavender sun setting sky. Next, swear 'tis true and have no idea why, found self thinking of various slightly absent ospers - Vicky[another rugby follower], kittikins, mila, sparrer, broomstick....was just pondering, hoping all was well, reflecting on own recent times. Broomstick - your presence is noted and I'm grinningly pleased:D It was just so strange that you'd been in my mind earlier in the afternoon, too.

Good to hear you have been suitably well cared for & and :j on the win!

    Saturday pleasures,

    Eggy bread for breakfast.

First decent grass cut of the year and looks good after the bad winter.

Busy busy, into horsey town to collect washed and re-proofed Lu rugs, then on to farm shop to visit excellent butcher counter, quick lunch, then out to stables to exercise girlie (without coat, yay ) and finally a stop at emporium for dog food and fish pie mix, phew.

Good news, my Parelli book had been delivered, bad news klux of a Lainey had ordered the Francais version and my schoolgirl French doesn’t stretch that far! Have printed off return label but held back from reordering until have checked out T*ndalls in horsey town, may have copy.

Caught up on Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon then tv off for Yahtzee.
