3. Went cycling yesterday to small cafe for pain au raisin and cafe
4. went walking to a local market town. Was really nice walk with my friend and HER friend. She is part of a huge ex-pat community here and i met several of them.
5. went in the evening for a keep fit / yoga session. Really enjoyed it and has inspired me to take up yoga again when I get home
6. glossing over the gym - which is not my favourite thing - we went walking in the mountains, which are stunning.
Out again tonight in a packed programme of activity. her house is gorgeous and homely with stunning views.

Fingers crossed! We'd LOVE it, it would be so us it's not true!
2. Have put another £1 in the Marmite jar.
3. Fun day at school, the room is still a tip and I could have done without the internet and the server going down...hope they come back up of their own accord....but I have done a bit more to make my new classroom mine.
4. Had a great time with new head's kids; they kindly made me a lovely sign for my classroom as the door was looking very boring. It's now laminated ready to go up. Head was happy I'd kept them so entertained!
5. Looking forward to meeting an old chum for cocktails and dinner in a bit. Just need to jump in the shower and put some gladrags onIt'll be a messy night....hopefully!

1. Spoke too soon yesterday. ds slept through his alarm and did not take puppy out to toilet at 2am. Resulting mess cleaned up at 3.30am whilst I washed puppy in the kitchen sink. Back to bed at 4am then up at 5.15am for work. Pleasure is that I managed to get to work after some breakfast fully clothed and clean but thought I had black trousers on and it turned out they were blue ! Still, not too much of a fashion disaster !
2. afternoon nap ZZzzzzzz
3. did some batch cooking Cajun chicken and Italian chicken with mozzarella and hm chilli burgers for DS work meals for next few days

Evening All,
I thought I posted Tuesdays pleasures this morning, but it seems to have gone missing. Although, I did not feel very well this morning, and went back to bed. I may have dreamed it!
Tuesday
1. More EBay listings and the shelves in my wardrobe have been organised.
2. 1 bag to the CS and another started.
3. The weather and a soggy leek in the bottom of the fridge suggested Beef Bouginion in the slow cooker. Substituted hickory smoked sausage for smoked ham and used the dregs of a week old bottle of wine in my Robert Carrier recipe. Mr Carrier would not be happy, but it was nice.
4. Sewed a button on my coat and stitched a seam on a dress.
5. Free Caffè Nero coffee with O2 and free bread from Iceland with a voucher. Small victories!
Well done Kittikins for starting some school work. I have not0 -
Shall post my pleasures earlier.
Today I was up at early o'clock but had went to bed at very early o'clock so all good!
Work...just in half an hour earlier so I could get away half an hour earlier...are you new? No, just early! Love a Thursday .
Train into city and then tram up to cancer hospital. Dropped off some puzzle books and returned 2 books , just the 7 months since I borrowed them!
Then I went to an amazing workshop on story telling and met some wonderful people whi also have a story to tell and the editor of a Melbourne magazine. A few tears but mainly laughter and hugs and smiles.
Went for lunch ( as I'd planned ) but joined by 2 new friends! One Scottish.
Met our oncologist so another hug, thanks for our donations and I was able to tell him my future plans. Such a lovely man.
Tram and train home with a quick stop at fruit shop for apples and bananas ...seems a grapefruit and lemons don't cut it! That was all that's left in fruit bowl.
Have a good day!0 -
Cut off by flooding. Watched it rise. Fast. No Spits. No prep. possible. Necessary roads impassable.
It's supposed to be summer.
1. Torrential rain did not stop all day, petered out after 1a.m. Sun is shining...at present. Lake St John - this town of gown pic.
https://t.co/9OZnTvi40V
2. Ate 2nd fig from [now] tree, planted as slip from friend - beautiful. More coming along.
3. All connectivity/leccie anything went retro or awol in &land yesterday. All time displays rode back an hour. So, when Vicar em plea for ride arrived [Ccr has packed up again, graunchy noises, 'stone in brakes'=latest diagnosis] & thought 'pity, too late', but it wasn't - only 0938, not 1038h. Not evident until car was found where left, not floating away. V.v.v.v.v.v.v. carefully, & managed to set off, last night's baking in back, slo-mo surfing crown of various tracks/road and collected Vicar for fundraiser....and back again. Rain falling so hard as to hurt as it landed, even through coats.

4. Noticed a lovely wine among the draw prizes:

-and later won it! AND a Jack Daniels gift set.
5. Some great girly rugby hier. Wireless commentary, old-style. Mrs lw, has your club changed to GMS management system online? Managed sub. renewal eventually last week, but not easily. Doesn't work intuitively for & [quelle surprise, not]

Morning,
For Wednesday....
1. I have had back ache for several months. Yesterday when I went back to bed , feeling poorly, I did a bit of googling. Dr google suggested that it could be a joint pain between my spine and my pelvis. I have borrowed DD microwave wheat Owl, and sprayed with magnesium oil........best sleep in ages:j
2. Decided I needed some fresh air, so went for a walk along the canal, booked tickets for guided walk in October, (Saved £2.50 by booking in person), booked restaurant for DS1 birthday. (Early evening menu).
3. Went to info talk about NCS challenge DS2 is starting on Sunday. Sounds fun, but clashes with our holiday and DS1 holiday, so will need to draft in help for pet feeding and standining in for parent duties while we are away. The Godparents knew the risks when they volunteered 16 years ago!!!!!!
4. Went for £5 Pizza Express afterwards, but as usual, bill ends up more.
5. More sorting of the wardrobe, but run out of time to EBay before we go on hols again. Now have piles of clothes in DD bedroom, which will have to be dealt with before she returns in October.
Have a lovely day. Sunny here! :j0 -
Lovely picture Ampersand.
Three courses at Steels BoP. I'm impressed.
House elf, please can you tell me which oil you used?
My 5 recently,
1. Got tickets for Edinburgh book festival on Saturday.
2. Purchased lovely winter coat with 70% off. Very happy.
3. Serial killer cat has stopped (for the time being) trying to bring dead rodents in. She is so loving in the house too.
4. Garden continues to be full of colour. Slowly introducing permanent planting.
5. Tried the microwave coffee cake on BBC good food. It was a success.0 -
Millwright action day next week
VJsM In the gym. My oh my! Beach ready in no time!
5 Finally run the model on the day the buttons get used for the first time. All eyes are looking to France! The model has given us the answer and in true fashion, the mice have done us all proud.
Still, I’ll get off when the dolphins have finished the fish.
4 Minded of the corrective therapy once when did wrong while looking after others brats, you call it fostering! Well me and M did wrong and therapy of correction was ordered. Our crimes, helping brats, our punishment, six hours of my life I cannot get back! Well, we were given diversity cards and the walk from the wall game, just like corners with four answers. You step forward when you can, as written on your card. Good old M flew off like a rocket. Me stood my ground, quite firmly! Then at last I had the chance to move, the three social workers urged me to do so! As readers know, mes and these types don’t mix! I stood firm and did not move! Clearly upset because they gambit had gone wrong, and me and M were only here to have our thoughts corrected. I smirched, retorted that they had forgotten about me. We are all individual, but by pigeon holing us, we amounted to nothing. The morning descending into rotten stale tobacco, because they all smoked, and tea. M again minded them of problems with his community, and he was a bit of an outcast from them. The brush came out, and the carpet was lifted. We continued to be corrected. The brats, again were not listened to. Same as Rotherham! Oldham! Rochdale. Newcastle!
Oh the looks when the Christmas cakes were eaten!
The stale tobacco stank! The carpet faded again! One of many a correction that did no …
3 So with that, BoP’d off this morning with best back and pepper mushrooms. Delights are cheese, two cakes of Jaffa. Proper chocolate, Bourneville! Boiled egg, toms, cucumber, peppers, oranges and berries. Not all in the same tub either, but proper food and good for you! This weeks mixed berries are blue, straw and rasp! Tum, beach ready, is rubbed!
2 After all that, the chocolate from Bournville has just been melted. Nice.
Being paid for a wrong only concurs worse.0
