Good evening,
I slept late this morning and my balance was decidedly awol when I did get up so a quick cuppa & a banana was grabbed before I headed back to bed again where I promptly fell asleep again until just after 1pm. Had a bowl of soup for lunch and then it was horizontal again. Consequently it's been a bit of a wasted day but I'm much steadier on my pins now thankfully (and showered and dressed)
. There is a portion of soup left so that will do my lunch tomorrow. I've rice mix left from last night and a couple of frozen cooked bangers so that will be the basis of dinner with some veg and frozen toms to make a quick sauce:).
Hugs lovely sorry you are suffering. Try not to think of it as a wasted day but rather as a much needed restful and healing day It works for me when I have bad day with arthritis flare up and cant be asked to do a lot.Slimming World at target0 -
Phew, dinner scoffed, I really did not need to eat the stewed apples & yoghurt after, now fully stuffed for the eveningNumerus non sum0

I went for a walk round Sainsbobs, found myself in the doughnut aisle... bag of 5 acquired. Toddled home excitedly and scoffed two from a plastic picnic plate. A bit later on .... I scoffed another over the sink, while waiting for the kettle to boil, so I didn't have to clear up any sugar droppings

Caronc Hope you're feeling better:grouphug:
I really must drink a lot of tea, cos I buy 4 pints of milk, and only use it in drinks!!! apart from dgson has a glass of milk at the weekend, in my defence mlud, I do get
a visitor most days.
Really enjoyed my tea of chicken pie sliced potatoes and onions, cooked in stock, with broccoli.
I've taken out a salmon fillet and a portion of dauphinoise potato for tomorrow, that with broccoli and peas I think.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0 -
I haven't had doughnuts for years. I used to love Sainsburys jam doughnuts and used to buy those bags of 5. I can't decide whether I fancy chocolate fudge cake or a fresh cream chocolate gateux right now, not that it matters because I don't have eitherPasturesNew wrote: »I went for a walk round Sainsbobs, found myself in the doughnut aisle... bag of 5 acquired. I'm going to make do with a crumpet instead

had the perfect easy CFO tea tonight - none :rotfl:
I had a massive portion of dinner from the work canteen so wasn't hungry. I am thinking to start taking a container into work for occasions like this as ideally I should have brought some home for another meal. It depends who you get serving some of the staff are more generous than others.0 -
Tip for doughnuts if they are getting past their best (if they last that long) pop in the microwave for a few seconds this revives them.
I am not over keen on them, wish I was as they are very reasonably priced.0 -

Ate it all... I'd cut it into six and after three thought "shall I stop now and put the rest in the fridge for later?" ... but then I thought "Just one more slice" - and then the final two looked so lonely I just ate them.
:rotfl: I always do this, really good intentions to eat half a pizza and save half for the next day, after 3 slices it tastes so good I have a 4th, then think 2 slices are not enough for a meal tomorrow so I finish them off
