I've been static over the last few weeks but today I got the date to see my consultant, plus the date of my op - both next year. Strange but I'm now supermotivated and focused to lose weight. The same happened this time last year before my op in Feb (that one was very serious) What is it with me that it takes an op to make me lose weight!!!
Anyway - it is what it is.
Made soup out of veg in the fridge, celery, carrot, squash, parsnip, plus stock cubes and whizzed up lentils to thicken it. Tasted OK. Everything weighed out and I've enough for some this teatime and enough calories left to have a couple of eggs and maybe some berries and yogurt. A three course meal:rotfl:0 -
It’s hard to find the motivation to lose weight Zafiro, I’ve put it off for years! :shocked: I think it is a bit easier when you have a goal or deadline to aim for.
-1lb for me this week. My mum’s coming to visit at the weekend, I was a stone heavier the last time I saw her so I’m hoping she’ll notice a difference.0 -
Hello Knit witch and eveyone.
Here I am back again , I've joined you all so many times and I think I am 1 stone heavier than last time I tried :-( .
I have tried weight watchers , tried slimming world , tried 5:2 , tried calorie counting lol ..... so this time I'm just going to try and eat sensibly and visit you guys to weigh in weekly. Think I just need to take my focus off food and off dieting and just try to be a bit better and move a bit more :-/
I'm lost really so fed up with being on "diets" :-(
Is it ok if I set myself a goal of -5lbs by christmas please or am I too late to join.
