When I was expecting my first child I took my wedding ring off in case my finger swelled up, when she was a few months old I decided I wanted to wear it again and forced it on thinking it would be ok. My finger quickly swelled around the ring and turned a horrible red then purple colour and it was hurting. I rang DH in a panic as no amount of soap and cold water was getting it off, in the end he directed me to a hacksaw in the garage and I had to saw it off.
ouch! There is a trick you can do with thread which can get rings off that you think will never come. I was much larger when I got married than I am now so I had to get my rings reduced - I really resented them getting to keep the tiny chunk of platinum they took outI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Breakfast : bacon medallions and dry fried egg on small toast
Lunch : Beef and veg stir fry (no noodles)

Thought I would update myself, haven't been online much as in the winter months my diet slipped quite a bit even though I was having my daily chicken flatbread and diet drinks, though despite the slips (takeaway maybe 2 nights a week instead of one and eating more before bed) my weight hasn't really gone up in past year id say, or down (was a point it seemed to go down in the summer for a short period) so id actually put that as a positive since it means with more activity and less slips the weight will start to come off relatively easy in my mind.0
