What About An Investment Forum?

Looking at the Savings and Investment and ISA fora there's already a fair amount of discussion about investment going on, it's just jumbled up between savings matters and spread across the S&I forum and the ISA subforum. So we're not all going to turn into discussing pork bellies hedge fund derivatives trading but, for example, these sorts of questions are being frequently asked:

• When should I use the Stocks and Shares component of my ISA?
• My bank's trying to sell me this investment product - any good?
• I got some shares from my building society going PLC - what can I do with them?

• I'm interested in currency trading - how do I start?
• How does spread betting differ from buying shares?

and so on. None of which are likely to set the City red braces twanging, but they're fairly common everyday questions about investment. Such discussion will go on in any case, but it would be useful to have a place where it can happen all together. That makes it much easier to learn by having it in one place where the archives can be read, rather than scattered between the hundreds of threads about savings accounts.

It's also interesting to note that there's also a considerable overlap between these and the Pensions board which doesn't have a problem dealing with cases where there's some degree of risk involved.
