Caravans parked on street
Just looking for some advice please.
I live on a quiet residential street and have had a family move in next door who have a car and have now bought a huge clapped old caravan and parked it right opposite my house. Not only is it an eyesore but it's also taking up parking spaces, of course they have a car too.
Not only this but the house st the top of the street (actually on the top street) has 3 clapped out old camper vans parked on the street. Two of which I never actually seen move and I've been here over a year now! Again they are taking up parking spaces and he has a car which he parks on our street - not on his own street!
It's actually becoming a joke around here and is more like a scrapyard than the nice little street it should be!
My question is, is there anything I can do about it? I'm not being a killjoy but they are really lowering the tone of the street and I'm getting embarrassed about visitors coming around.
Thanks for any advice given.

Are you sure you have the right registration marks? Should come up on here if they are taxed and/or MOT'd or not.
https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.ukSo what do I do?
Take the advice in post #2 re the caravan. There may well be local by-laws about leaving un-hitched caravans on the public road0 -
Report as an abandoned vehicle, the Local Authority will put a 7 day notice on it to be removed from the Highway, as it is treated as abandoned, as not taxed, MOT'd or Insured, after 7 days they will remove if still there.0

:rotfl: Perhaps in an ideal world where council finances aren't being squeezed dry by central government.0 -
