  • We have an up and running computer again, it was hard having to use my mobile device for this website and we also use the computer to help work from home and I use it to complete my surveys and my OH for his gaming and we use it for TV as we don't own one.

I'm currently at £3.13 on PA. Decided survey money will go into my savings account. I also set up a NWest instant saver account for the wedding fund. My parents will transfer £100 start at Feb payday.

Me and my OH have decided that we will have separate funds. I will put my savings into the wedding fund and him into the house fund (it will be £500 into the wedding and £1,000 into the house as my OH earns more than me)

Once we hit Jan 2019 we should have enough in the Wedding fund that we won't need to add more to it and then all other money can go into the house fund.
  • Nothing much to update, spent the day being lazy as have been trying to get over the alcohol from last night!

Going to keep ticking over until pay day.
  • I made £2.44 doing 2 surveys on PA this afternoon. Just waiting for this to come through and will have £5.54 in my account, I will just keep going until the end of Jan and then transfer the money over.

3 more days until payday. I've checked with work and the money I'm owed back from buying additional annual leave is £386. I'm assuming it'll get hit by tax and so on. Whatever is the 'extra' over my normal monthly wage I will send straight to my credit card as I'm making a smaller payment this month in order to have the spending money for the surprise holiday trip.

I've also managed to put £4 into my jar with money left over from my night out so have £40 in there which is growing nicely for the big December event.. (is it too early to use the 'C' word round here?)

I will need to re-do my spreadsheet but at the moment don't have access to Excel as we lost that when my OH had to fix the computer.
  • I have done my finances on excel at work so I have a back up copy. I have done it up to three months in advance. Still on for the end of April as a debt free date but hoping I can push it to the end March instead!

NSD so far but will need to pop and get my friend a gift (should be reimbursed as it’s a group gift!) :D

I have a grand total of £11 on my debt card, £11.96 in savings and £40 in my £1 coin Christmas jar, the only thing I need to buy is the gift.
  • Still need to buy the gift. I want to do that with what is left in my account before a new chunk of money goes in tomorrow, whatever is left tonight after buying the gift will go into my savings account.

I am looking ahead to February and don’t have much planned. I have:

    1. Evening out on Friday 26th - budget for this is £10
    2. Friends birthday on Saturday 27th - budget is £20 as it’s a meal out.
    3. Valentine’s Day - 14th Feb - no plans so far
    4. Italy - 19th Feb until 25th Feb. We need to pay for airport car parking and potentially a hotel within the area of hotel as it’s a 3 hour journey. It will be a half and half split, so I am looking at £50 for my share.
  • Woooo, pay day! :j Just about survived. My goal one day is to live month to month and not pay day to pay day!!

Have started to move money around and have figured out the money I need to take out of my account and where that needs to be allocated to. I did a spreadsheet at work so at least I can follow that on excel.

Completed a few surveys on PA. got £8.27 for £1.67 pending. I had a £5 on offer but I couldn’t complete it as I was at work and did not have access to sound, which is a little annoying but never mind.

I will plan to pay off a bit to the credit card in the next few days.
  • Yesterday was a little spendy but all came out of the necessary pots.

My friend owes me £7 for a gift and desserts and I’m owed back £13 from friends as I paid for a joint birthday gift.

Planned spend today will be shopping. We have £50 for this but hoping it’ll be cheaper.

I also have a friends birthday meal. I have £20 for this which will cover food, drink and a taxi home.
  • We spent £50.80p at shopping today. Will last for the week and includes all lunches and dinners for the week so won’t need to spend money during the week! :D

Last of the spending to be done this evening then I should be able to have NSD for the next week.
  • We paid for the airport parking and hotel. My share was £55, but I went through topcashback for both so I will get £11.67 back, not too bad seeing as we had to pay for both anyway.
  • I need to try and download an Excel start pack, I miss my spreadsheet :( I need to get ready to go out tonight. The aim is to try and have a good night and spend as little as possible. I have £20 set but hoping it'll be less. OH is on taxi duty tonight as I realised that I paid for both taxi rides last week

I did throw £7 into my C-mas pot as I had £7 in coins and I knew I would spend them if left in my purse. If I'm right, it's at £42 now! My aim is £300.

I also made a payment of £135.75 to my CC. My OH owed me £135 and the 75p was the extra add on. I will make my own payment as soon as all my direct debits go out (which should be on Thursday)

My aim is to pay at least £100. It's less this month as I had to budget spending money in for the Italy trip. After Italy our next trip is for a Wedding in April (accom. all paid for) just need a spending money for 1 day. Then our next trip is in October, we only need to save to pay off the holiday by 23.06.18. Looking at little spending money as we are all inclusive and will spend majority of time at the hotel.
