Hi Florence, thanks for popping by  long time no speak!

I will do that! I cleared out my wardrobe today and have a bag full of clothes that need a good home. I do only have two work trousers and could do with a third (I may see how I get on this week - one of the things I wanted to buy were work trousers with the voucher)

I got three different vouchers for my birthday, so I can hopefully spread them out and use them as treats for whats left of the year.

I will be going, depending on how much tickets cost. If the ticket costs more than £20 I won't be going to it, but I have pre-planned and worked it into my November pay budget.

Thanks for remembering me, I subscribed so I still read your diary but I very rarely have anything of use to say. I am in a similar thinking stage regarding the football. I think the BCFC/MU football match is the 18th December which is just over a week before the Boxing Day match. The boxing day match is budgeted for in the Christmas budget, but this is still an expense quite close to Christmas. I have asked my OH if we can go as part of my Christmas present, but there's still the hassle of trying to get tickets as we just have membership cards, not season tickets, and membership card sales went up hugely the day of the draw result, so we will see. :)

  • I know, football is expensive. Our game is on the 19th December..

I’m lucky I have my season ticket so I get the home games, it works out cheaper over the year. For cup games I just have to remember to buy my tickets in time!!

If the ticket is above £20 then I am going to hope that it is on the TV so I can watch it :) save myself some money and also stay warm!
  • I went gym this morning (yay for 5:30am wake up and leave at 6:10am to make a 7am and 7:30am class) unfortunately I forgot: my sandwich, my milk for my cereal and my banana. I refuse to spend any more today so I was waiting for my OH to drop it in (we work in the same building!)

I got paid today and I didn’t want to start the day off by spending.
  • Small win. I went in to pick a food catalogue up so me and my OH can decide if we want to order from this store for Christmas.. I always get my grandma a tin of biscuits (which are usually £9), however, they were half price so I swooped in and grabbed them for £4.50 :j

Another present down, only a million to go!!
  • Waiting for all my direct debits to clear for the next month before getting a clear picture on money.

I’m trying to round up all the social activities I’m doing this month and allocate money to them, it’s proving tricky.

The key for next month is no more random credit card spending!
  • Update on Christmas shopping..

I have the main presents for both of my sisters, my dad and my nephew. I just need to buy the stocking filler parts (this should come under £20)

I just have to worry about: my mum, my OH and my niece as I have nothing for them yet.

Christmas budget wise I have: £66 from this month and then £100 for next month. My aim is to come under this. Last year I spent a stupid amount on my OH and I promise myself to not do that this year.. fingers crossed!

I'm itching to get home from work and look at my spreadsheet!!!
  • Spreadsheet has been consulted and updated. Envelopes have been filled with the correct amount of money so all ready to go.

Half of my Christmas presents down (checked my present stock yesterday) only another half to go!!

I need to exchange my money for holiday next week and me and my OH need to consult our shopping list and go back to basics and he is having health issues atm.
  • I spent money today and it made me feel bad :rotfl:

I spent £6.73 in boots, and £5.50 in a Christmas shop. All spends are needed.

The boots spend were for toiletries for holiday. We only have hand luggage so I needed to buy minitures!

I think you can be forgiven for buying essentials :)

  • My topcashback has finally gone through, I am £8.45 richer (well, will be in the next three days)

Bad news, turns out my OH neglected to tell me about our energy bill which is about 2x more than I was expecting. Apparently, our fixed term payment ended and we are on the normal electricity plan, therefore my part of the bill is £85 this month - I am furious.

Money has been moved, and even though I've been gym tonight - done two classes - I have given in and eaten cake.
