How secure are apps compared to laptop with decent anti malware etc?
Oh dear, I have a feeling I know the direction this thread is about to take

Tesco is my favourite app - I especially like the balance peek. Santander is handy, as you can do everything on it you can do with the website - its long-winded to sign in, though, as it has the same process to log in that you do with the website.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

It's quite hard to cart a PC about with you though. I think they're a huge advantage.
I find PCs go through batteries really quickly, too, and carrying hundreds of AA batteries does my back in. Let alone the cost of them wiping out my profits from my higher interest current accounts.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -

Use cash. Then you don't need to keep constantly need to look at you phone to check how much you've spent on your contactless card.0 -

You can swap cash between your pockets too - similar to how you can swap it between your accounts!I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
I bought an iPad in a shop recently, and was able to transfer the money from my savings into my current account while standing at the counter. Wouldn't be without my portable banking now.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

If I wanted to check my accounts on the move then I probably would use banking apps but I don't hence I prefer using the browser on my desktop. Plus most apps I have used seem to have less functionality than accessing accounting via their websites.0

Though begs the question why you have a savings account to transfer from, when current accounts will generally pay higher rates.0
